Hey all,

It's been a few years since we've been but my wife and I are excited to go back in November, first time for food and wine and Christmas.

Anyway, we are landing around 5 PM...so I figure best case scenario is we can enter Epcot around 7 PM (staying at Yacht Club). When our 60 day window kicks in and we can schedule fast passes, will it let you schedule at least 1 or 2 for Epcot given that time of night? As I recall it gives you some scenarios based on what you select, but I've never attempted to start that late before.

Sure. I'd book first FP around 6:30 , then you have an hour to get to it. That way you can try for three. You might miss the first one but it's worth a try.

Of course you have to decide if it's worth a cost of a day for a few hours.

It’s going to let you schedule 3 FP on whatever park you choose on your arrival day.

With Epcot, most of the good ones- Frozen, Test Track, Soarin are Tier 1 so you can only pick one of those. I would pick your Tier 1 in a safe time spot and don’t worry about the other 2. Or you could do 2 FP in the morning and then let them expire and try for another Tier 1 after 3rd FP tap in.

This. Book something close to the international Gateway entrance (Frozen, Imagination, Test Track) for 6:30, you'll have til 7:45 to get to it. Then you can book a 7:30 FP and an 8:30 FP. Book whatever you care about the most for the 7:30 FP.

Are you planning on seeing the night time show that night?

This is true, but if you are staying any significant time the cost can be very little for the extra day.
I haven't done all the math, but we usually stay for 10 days. The difference between a 9 day ticket during our next stay and a 10 day ticket is less than $15.00 per person due to the discounts of adding the day. ha
9 - day cost per person. $576.00
10 day cost per person. $590.00

We have APs, so we always go to the parks for a short time on arrival day.
I agree with trying to get the firs tFP around 6:30, then each hour after.
Generally later in the evening Future World tends to not be too busy, especially during F&W.
I would get TT as a FP for your tier 1. Its fun at night and it tends to be the one that goes down the most, so you'll get an anytime FP if that happens.

We always go to a park on arrival day no matter the arrival time. With FP+ it's so worth it to add a day for $15 a person.

I agree with the rest to book your first one at 6:30.

As long as you have valid tickets/passes for that day, it will let you reserve fastpasses on check in day. The system doesn't keep track of when you plan to check in or anything like that.

I'd set 2 tier 2 FP's for earlier in the day and hope they expire and then a tier 1 for when you figure you'll be there. If they expire properly then you can add additional tier 1's as soon as you tap the first ride.

Do you have other days in EP? Are you planning on seeing the nighttime show? I agree with the others to book your Tier 1 FP+ for around 7:30 pm when you have a pretty good shot (barring travel delays) of being in the park. Whether you book your 2 Tier 2's earlier in the day and have them expire so you can try to get another Tier 1 that night or if you book Tier 1 and 2 Tier 2's back to back that evening is really determined by your other touring plans, IMHO. For example, if you have EP scheduled another day, I would probably try to knock out three rides, that you'd like to ride, on one side of the park that evening. For example, if they are of interest to you, consider booking TT, Mission Space and Spaceship Earth. You would then be done with that side of FW in one fell swoop. And, as others have said, if TT goes down (and it does a lot!), you will get a multiple experience FP+ for almost every other ride for that evening.
