Fast Pass+ Newbie

So I am pretty new to this Fast Pass+ world... last time we were in the World, we were there during the test period, and they were not able to figure out how to link our Premier pass to MDE. Huge mess!! Anyway, we are planning a 10/30-11/5 trip with Free Dining. We are only purchasing 2 day park hoppers because we going to upgrade to Premier passes once we get there. My question, since we only have the 2 day tickets now, will we only get to choose Fast Passes for 2 days of our trip once we hit the 60 day window? Thanks!!

Boo! I will probably just plan the first 2 days. We are going with our 19 month old and hubby could take or leave the rides (we go to DL about once a month and he hates the crazy planning). Are the Fast Passes pretty picked over if you choose the week of?

The most sought-after ones are.

Why don't you order tickets that will cover all the days of your entire trip,
then, upgrade to your desired AP after you arrive?

We may do that.. only glitch is, we already have Premium DL passes, and that with the price of a 6 day ticket, Disney will actually owe use money back when we upgrade to the Premier... I really don't see them giving me a refund.

Yup. "Officially" no refunds are given in ticket transactions.

Although I have read many reports where the CM gave guests the difference price back on a Gift Certificate,
that cannot be counted-on as a sure-thing.

Thanks! We won't do a lot of the big rides anyway... May do rider switch, but riding solo is not super appealing.
