Fast Pass ? - Magic Bands but no tix yet

I received our magic bands but will be buying our tix onsite since we are only going to 2 parks. I'm assuming I cannot schedule fast pass until I buy tix, correct? I wasn't sure if there was a way to schedule prior.

any time within the 60 days before your arrival.

Iif I just buy one day ticket now (online), do you know if it can be upgraded at the gate when I pickup? We will have to wait to arrive to buy military discount tickets because we don't live near a base anymore but I wanted to try to get A&E FP+ for our last day.

2. If you only buy a single one-day ticket in advance, you can only make advance FP+ reservations that one day for the person using that one ticket.
