Fast Pass Kiosk question

It's been over 6 years since we've been to Disneyland. Can you use your digital ticket on your phone to secure fastpasses at all kiosks, or do some still require that you put in your paper ticket? If some still require your paper ticket, which are they? THanks!

If you aren't doing Max Pass, then you will need your paper ticket to put into the FP machine at most of the distribution points. If I'm remembering correctly, I think you need your paper ticket to get FPs everywhere but maybe the Tomorrow Land machines.

I remember Splash Mountain ones did have narrow slots for paper tickets or annual passes. Maybe a few others. However, most seem to have an opening wide enough for a smart phone or even a phablet.

However, the passes do show up on the app for any attached tickets.
