Fast pass glitches???

I have this vague recollection o reading "something, somewhere" on the web (these boards maybe?) about some fast pass machines which are not "connected" to the others, such that you could get the fast pass for that attraction and then get one for another attraction without waiting for the two hours or the printed fast pass return time. Maybe Jungle Cruise was one?

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

I can't even remember if this was for DL or WDW. If it is true, does anyone know where to read more, or have a list of these hidden gems?

I read it in the unofficial guide. It was the jungle cruise, haunted mansion and tower of terror at WDW and I've also heard of the lights, motors action show doing this too, but of course, there are no guarantees.

The fast pass machines are covered at HM. I've never seen them in use. It was a walk on all the days we were at MK.

We recently tried this with the jungle cruise one and it is connected to other machines. I read it on the board, so figured I'd try. I heard that HM FP were going away, just like livin with the land. ToT is also connected as we have tried to get another FP after getting one and it did not work. Seems all of the glitches have been fixed. I also heard about the stunt show not being connected, but never checked that one, as I try my darnest to avoid that attraction. I always encourage the hubby to go without me and I go have a snack--it works most of the time. However, during a tour last year, the CM told us that sometimes Disney will turn off the FP connections and a person can get FP everywhere, it's just that we don't know it. She said sometimes on special days like Mother's Day....I never experienced this, so don't know if it's true.

Wow--wouldn't that be SWEET to discover! I might just give one a try on occasion--nothing's really lost but a few monents on the FP line if a FP won't print....

I believe you are correct that the HM FP machines are being removed.

they aren't being removed they keep them there just in case. I bet they will use them some day for a special event.
