Is the seating/view for Parades/Fireworks Fast Passes worth it?

Depends. Which park? MK ones are likely more valuable than Epcot ones, you can get a good view of IllumiNations in many places.

What else were you planning to use them for? You may not want to give up shorter lines for your preferred attractions.

If you are looking for an uncrowded place to see a MK parade or wishes, no kids on shoulders, nobody standing up next to you and trying to push up into your face, then a parade/Wishes fastpass can be worth its weight in gold. (The parade viewing area is uncrowded but it's not shaded, there are no seats (except on the curb) and it's been noted that while it is directly in front of the castle, it's in a difficult place if you are trying to get both the parade floats and the castle in a photograph. The Wishes area is a side view, not head-on but Tinkerbell flies directly over you if she flies that night.)

The Fasspass+ for the MK afternoon parade was definately worth it for us. Not having to wait around with a Toddler to get a good spot with a good view right in front of the castle was well worth it.

The FOF parade FP was terrific! The location is great, the access to the characters is great! The only issue is bring a hat or sunscreen. The FP location is right in front of the castle and there is NO SHADE! It can be hot and if the sun is out............the burn will be on! Even with that I still thought it was so worth it.

The link below is our video of the FOF parade from this past September, which was taken from the FP location...........enjoy!

We love MSEP, and the fastpass viewing location was excellent. It was so nice to be able to spread out a little bit. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Don't want to hijack the thread but are FP+s for Wishes and MSEP able to be had the day of? I don't think I want to "waste" a FP+ and have to wait standby for some rides to have the FP+ for either event... but we've got some impatient LOs and the idea of waiting and hoarding a good viewing spot for both events is kind of terrifying. Tried to get the Wishes Dessert party but it's sold out. :(

I think it all depends on how you value parades and fireworks (and the locations to watch them) versus rides and attractions, plus the park crowd levels that day. We had booked FP+ for evening parade and fireworks but ended up cancelling and changing to rides that morning as even with 7 crowd level we were able to find suitable viewing locations for both within 1/2 hr of even (party of 2) based on a previous day experience.

It probably varies a little by day, but for the most part, I'd say that it's unlikely you'd be able to get a Wishes FP+ that day. I was there for almost two weeks in October and I didn't see Wishes show up as a 'day-of' FP+ at any point. I did MSEP show up once (second parade), so that one might be possible, but I think it's more likely you're getting FP+s that someone cancelled. So you have to hope that someone cancels the FP+s on the day you're looking and you happen to be looking for the FP+ when it goes back into the system. Basically, I think you have to get lucky to get a Wishes or MSEP FP+ on the day of the show.

If you look at the DIBS site, they have Wishes entirely booked up through Feb. 20 on their auto search although they do currently have availability on Feb. 5. The capacity is pretty low compared to attractions that are open all day, so they go fast and it might be hard to find them day of.

MSEP is currently available for today according to the site so it's not impossible.

Just used our FP for the noon Chris's parade today and all on our group agreed it was very worth it. Fantastic view, no pushing or crowds closing in on us and AMAZING character interaction to us and others in the FP area
