Fast Pass for Illuminations?

I'm planning my FP experience and found that they're fast passes for Illuminations. What would this include? Don't you just go early, find a good spot and watch the show? Do they have some special seating area for it? I haven't been to Disney in 5 years and I'm wondering if they changed something.

There is a FP available and it's rated in the FP FAQ:

C - IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth (Reserved Area @ World Showcase Plaza)

If you hold a FP for Illuminations, it will keep you from attempting to book a 4th FP for that specific day.

Yes there is a special area but I enjoy just walking around the showcase during it. Based on the overall crowds you would possibly be able to add Illuminations as your 4th fast pass as I have been able to do several times.
