We are coming with my daughter and her family, but thinking about coming one day later than them, but concern about getting fast passes or dinning since she can do it one day sooner. We want to eat and ride with grandkids. We are linked together on my experience, so can she make the plans for all? Or would it be better to just come in late that night so I am staying the same days?

She has the choice when she makes her selections to include you if you are linked on MDE. So it shouldn’t make much difference.

She will be able to include you on the dining reservations. The fastpasses - I'm not 100% sure.

If you booked a room + ticket package, she won’t be able to book FPs for you.

What type of tickets do you have? Packaged or purchased separately or AP?

Dining is open to anyone at 180 days, a resort reservation is not required.

FP is a whole different story. @hiroMYhero will give you the info you need on FPs.

I booked a package with tickets and hotel onsite together. We are linked together on My Disney Experience, I see her and she sees me.

Then your FP window opens exactly 60 days out from your check-in date.

If you want her to book FPs for you, change your reservation to room-only and use the app or a ticket seller to purchase your own tickets.

I booked tickets and hotel together online, for onsite hotel. We are linked together on the My Disney Experience, I see her family on mine and she sees us on her page. It makes it hard when we don't travel on same day. If I have to I guess we will take a late flight on her same day of travel, then the computer will let us both do FP? We want to do them at same time, be together as a family, so can't we do it from her page? If we have to do them separate how do larger families get the FP together?

The tickets for the parks have to match the same number of days you are staying in hotel?

No, tickets only have to reflect the # of days you are planning to be in a park.
