so i tried this morning to get FP+ for 6 guests for Flight of passage. nov 22. uh, nope gone within 2 minutes while my account was trying to connect. it did not sync/recognize fast enough that i had resort reservations for the dates to show on the calendar ...(booked for the monday before)
well lesson learned, don't try to make your + days on your reservation the 1st time its available ,
dang did they go FAST.
from what i saw (been checking a few weeks ) unless you have a reservation of +5 days, you are not going to get on Flight of passage. wow.

a question though, rivers of light showed unavailable.
I thought that was strange & was going to ask about that ( in this post) but then I was looking for another day to see if it had times & just had me ( one person) checked to get a fp+ for, & the time showed up,, wtheck? sooooo I modified another choice & was able to book FP+ for 2 people at a time, so all 6 guests now booked for that...makes no sense.
thinking about this, maybe if i did that with Flight of passage, it might have worked. I can't do anything about it now, even for friday the 22nd they have availability for 2 people after 5pm,, going fast.(have feeling trying to book those they might be spread out too far. need to do this at 7am for day choice)

but I thought maybe this info can help someone else trying to get passes for more than 2 people at a time.

Illuminations do not show for Nov 24 either for 6 guests.

the last Kilimanjaro safari was 5:30... were the later ones all gone also? I thought they had later night times.

Sounds like a trip to Glitch City to me.

At 60 days it took the system 2-3 minutes to see that we had a package with tickets. It kept saying no tickets found. We just kept refreshing and was able to get everything we wanted (FOP, SDD, etc) for 5 people. It took more time than in the past years but were happy for the times we got. I also was able to move things around later in the day after I made the initial FP's.

Apologies, but quick question in regards to fast passes and park hopping. Plan to park hop next week. We have one FOP fastpass booked for the morning and nothing else. Once we check in with our MB @ FOP, am I able to make two FP's at another park? Or at that point do I have to go one by one?

We wanted to go to AK solely for FOP this time around, but did not want to have to burn the other two FPs

Thanks

No, you have to use your initial 3 at one park

I don't believe you must use all 3 in the same park before getting a FP at another park.
If you want to get FPs at your 60 or 30 day window, they must be in the same park. The day of, as soon as you tap in the last FP you have reserved, you should be able to get a FP (or 2 if you only used 1 at ther first park) at another park.

That is not true anymore. On the same day, once you have entered the park and you scan your magic band for the first FP, you can then make same day FP for any other park for your 2/3 FP through the app.
Wow, I didn’t know that. I’ve never gone to a park without all 3 FPs scheduled 60 days ahead of time, and I know you can’t make those at more than one park.

Yep, it's true. Our last trip in March I made one FP for FOP at 9:30 am 60 days in advance. That was the only FP I made for that day. Once we tapped in for the FP, I immediately got on the app and was able to make my 2nd FP choice for Epcot. And once I got to EP and tapped in for TT, I was able to get a 3FP for wherever I wanted (ended up staying at EP, but I was given the choice of any park.)

You may find the FP FAQ helpful.
I’ve been to WDW at least once a year for the last 30 years, I’m pretty much familiar with every aspect of Disney including The FP system. Obviously I was mistaken about this one issue because I’ve never gotten a day-of FP other then after my first three were gone before, because I’m a super planner and wouldn’t think of stepping foot into a park without having my top three rides FPd. Otherwise I’m pretty much familiar with the FP system that I’ve used many, many times, thanks though!

How many days in was 11/22 for you? I'm beginning to think all the newest MDE issues just happening to coincide with our 60 days window (which opened on 9/11) were a blessing in disguise for me at least. Aside from Slinky Dog on our 60+1, which I wasn't expecting anyway, I was able to get everything else at the times I wanted including FOP for 6 people at 60+4 in the morning. It still took me some refreshing and switching devices that morning, but I got in no later than 20 minutes past 7am EST.

3 days in.
I never thought about making my party smaller, which might have worked, but I never had to before, so that made no sense.
(by the time I looked at this approach, there were only a couple times later in evening which would not work with our dinner schedule, which was more important)
looking at day +4 (which we have other place to go) I still see , right now, available for evening

oh BTW on the MDE issue. for days i could not even log into MDE on Google chrome. (I use my computer, not the App) I then tried IE & firefox. was able to log in with one of those.

And funniest thing of all, Disney claims MDE is optimized for Chrome

Huh? Overlapping FP for small groups of a large party is a trip to Glitch City? That's one of the oldest tips to book FP for a large group there is. It doesn't glitch and works great. I thought (or should I say just assumed) it was part of the FAQ section. It's been quite some time since I read it, obviously.

Yeah, the crazy thing for me on the morning of the 11th was none of the computer based browsers would work (on two different computers). The only way I was eventually able to book was using the app of all places. And even then I couldn't get my friend's daughter to show up. I had to book without her, then call and wake him up to book hers separately and hope to get overlapping times (which we mostly did fortunately). Now today, I can't even see my FastPasses on the app.

OP, I'm confused by this line. I'm not sure what you mean by "1st time it's available"?? Could you elaborate for us newbies?
