Fast Pass and Park Hopping

Hi All

Heading to Disney with my DH in September. It's been quite a few years since our last trip to DW and this whole fast pass thing is throwing me for a loop. Our window of time for Fast Pass+ opened up last night and we managed to get some fast passes we wanted. Question though if we are park hopping on one day is it possible to get fast passes for both parks we are visiting using MDE? I find this very confusing. Can someone please explain? Thanks so much.

You only get FP+ for one park in advance.

Choose the park of that day you think you'll need FP for the most. Or you could since its september choose to do FP+ for your first park and then at the second park get your 4th and so on one at a time.

You can only select one park's worth of FP+ reservations in advance. If you plan to do a park in the morning and another in the evening, I would suggest making your FP+ reservations for the second park. Then do the attractions you'd like at the first park at rope drop.

If you normally go to the parks at opening then I would get the fastpasses for the park you plan to hop to. At the first park you ride the headliner attractions first where you probably won't need fastpasses that early.

I usually do the opposite, book FPs for the morning and then after I've hopped book another FP for the evening from in the new park. But then, we rarely know where we're ending the day.
