Fast pass and park hopper question?

We are going to animal kingdom in the morning and then switchimg to magic kingdom for the afternoon. Do I have to get three fast passes for animal kingdom? Right now I have two, can I get my third in magic kingdom once we switch parks? I know I can't right now.

As soon as you enter the FP line for FP#1, book your MK FP.

No you don't need 3.
If you have 1 or 2 you can look for one at a different park as soon as you tap in for your first FP+.
