i'm trying to coordinate Fast Passes in the Magic Kingdom for 10 people around BBB and BOG lunch. The BBB is at 9:30am, and the two girls are getting just the basic package. Since we have BOG resos for 1pm, i tried to coordinate our first fast passes in that area, so 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Ariel's Under the Sea fast passes are 9:55-10:55. Then Peter Pan's flight is 10:55-11:55. i thought after that i could set fast passes for Haunted Mansion, Pirates, and Buzz Lightyear for after lunch. My big question is, is it difficult to do fast passes on your phone on mydisneyexperience while in the parks? Do the fast pass spaces fill up? Has anyone had any issues? Thanks for your help. Let me know if you see anything in my plans that might be a problem.

My big question is,
1. is it difficult to do fast passes on your phone on mydisneyexperience while in the parks?
2. Do the fast pass spaces fill up? Has anyone had any issues?

1. You must go to a kiosk in the park to book a 4th FP+ after you have used the first 3.
You must go to a kiosk in the park to book a 5th FP+ after you have used the 4th FP+.
(You can ALTER your 4th (5th, etc.) FP+ via your phone once you have booked it at a kiosk.)

2. Depends on, well, EVERYTHING that day. (Number of guests, desired attraction, popularity of attraction, time of day.)

What time of year are you going? Fast Passes selections go more quickly when parks are more crowded. If you have BBB appt for 9:30am for 2 and 2 FP that are for 9:55-10:55 am, just make sure will that give you enough time to make both FP? Also, after using first 3 FP you can only make 1 more FP at a time after that. Hope this helps :)

We're going in March and will be in Magic Kingdom on the 17th. It may be Spring Break for some schools. I was thinking we could make 3 more fast passes on my phone after we use those first three. Now I'm thinking I should start by making our first 3 for the most popular rides.

That would be the best strategy IMO. In particular I'd probably swap out your Ariel FP for something more popular that may not be available that day as an additional FP. Ariel will likely have plenty of availability. Maybe go with one of the more popular M&Gs.

Yeah, after the first 3 are used you can only then book one at a time. So after the first 3 are used the most you can have at one point in time is one. Once that additional is used you can add another, and so on. So, the later in the day you make the FP+ reservations, the fewer chances, time-wise, you'll have to make additional choices. And as you can probably guess, if you make your 4th FP+ selection for really late in the day, you won't have much time to make any additional choices after...if that all makes sense.

So, my personal recommendation is to make the first 3 for the rides that are really popular/you really want to do. As the day goes on the possibilities for the popular rides gets less and less.

It would be great if you could add 4th, 5th, etc on your phone but you cannot. And sometimes the line for the fp kiosks are longer than the rides! In my experience during a "slow" time, if my first 3 fp were done by 12 pm by the time I got to the kiosk a lot of the fp wouldn't even start til 3 or 4. Then once I used that one the next wouldn't start til 6 or 7 then by the time I used that all the good ones were gone or really late. A couple days at MK I saw many of the rides like big thunder, splash, space, even buzz were all gone by 6 or even earlier.

That is our spring break, but I think the biggest spring break crowd will be for the couple of weeks after that. You can only book three in advance, but then you have to book one at a time. At MK, there will be some decent options for the 4th and maybe even a 5th or 6th. As a PP said, the kicker is that if you have a specific ride you want and get the 4th for a whole lot later, then you aren't going to have a good chance for a 5th. It definitely is not like the old days and in park FP+s are a whole lot harder to get. Our strategy at MK is typically to book the 3 we really want for that day as early as we can get them, then we look for the 4th and unless there is a particular one that is really important that day, we look at the times and get the earliest one for a ride with a longer line (which since FP+ can be a lot of them in our experience). We ride that and then try for something else. Sometimes you get lucky and get a FP+ that kicks in soon, sometimes for anything useful it is hours later. It is annoying because where we used to do areas at a time, we now find ourselves having to criss-cross the park to avoid standing in longer ride lines. You not only have to criss-cross to get to whatever ride you were lucky enough to get a FP+ for, but you also have to somewhat go out of your way to get to the kiosks. We are not big fans of FP+. I would say book your 3 for the most important rides with the longest lines just assuming you may not even get a 4th.

I will also warn you that while you can get a decent 4th and even 5th at MK, that we have never once been able to get anything as a 4th FP+ at DHS even stacking our FP+ early, and even though we do not go at high crowd times. EPCOT, about the only things we have ever been able to get a 4th FP+ for are Figment and Spaceship Earth- but while those weren't useful in the past and in the times we went we always walked on Figment and Spaceship Earth- now we have seen lines of 20 or 30 minutes for Figment more than once. So, while they seem like throw away FP+, they actually have come in handy.

Oh my, that really changes everything. I mainly want the two kids to go on everything they really want. My sister and I will need a handicapped entrance for the rides we go on. But I know that sometimes takes a fast pass. This is getting a might bit complicated.

But I know that sometimes takes a fast pass.

Sorry, but that's incorrect info.

You need to click over to the "disABILITIES Forum" HERE, where you'll find good info.

Robo pointed you in the right directions. Just wanted to add that there are very few "handicapped entrances" at WDW, as most attractions are wheelchair/ECV accessible through the standby queue.

At Disneyland they had a handicap entrance for Haunted Mansion and Pirates. We talked to a CM and she gave us a time to come back, but had to cancel an existing fast pass to give us those. At Pirates, we entered on the opposite side of the river. I really liked it because they gave us plenty of time to get on and off the ride, which can be tricky for me.

Check over on the disABILITIES board, but I don't think they do that at WDW as much - it was built much later than Disneyland, and most rides are ADA accessible, by law.

Thanks! I do spend time over in that forum. They have lots of good info. I've been to WDW before, a couple times, but didn't go on many rides in the Magic Kingdom, mainly because the lines were crazy long. This is the first trip with young'ens in the group. :)
