Fast Food restaurants in MCO hours?

Does anyone know how late the fast food restaurants are open in the Orlando Airport? We fly in at 9:35 and would like to grab a quick bite. Will anything be open?

One of the places in the food court (Starbucks?) is open 24/7 but the sandwich offerings at that hour may be limited. My memory is most of the other places close by 10p. You might get lucky. Makes more sense to bring a sandwich and eat on the plane.

McCoys grill at the Hyatt is open later.

Lewis is right; at that hour it's best to brown-bag it.

(I order from my favorite deli and have them make us up some nice sandwich boxes, which we pick up en route to the airport. Nothing smelly, but we do garner very envious looks when we take them out and have our little picnic on the plane. ;))

If you do get boxed dinners made up, be sure to ask them to give you the condiment packets separately, so that you can carry them through security in your 3-1-1 baggie.

That is a good idea. So if the sandwich has any mayo or other condiments on it TSA will take it right? I am just so nervous on what kind of food you can bring through security. It would be so much easier just to go through the Jimmy Johns drive thru before heading to the airport and take it with us but I never know what they will allow. We fly out of Omaha and all the food places are before you go through security. Once through security there is a coffee shop and that's about it. DUMB!

If the condiments are already ON the sandwich when you take it through security, that's fine and they will go through with no problem. All dry foods are fine to take through. (A good rule of thumb on foods is: does it hold it's shape at room temp without a container? If so, then it definitely isn't considered a "liquid" for TSA's purposes.)

If you prefer to wait and put the condiments on just before you eat so that your bread or salad doesn't get soggy, then you need to make sure the packets go through security separately, in your 3-1-1 baggie.

Wait to buy your drinks until after security, or just drink what the airline provides on board.
