Fast food promotion free flights?

I thought I remembered years ago people dumpster diving to collect something like McDonalds monopoly game pieces to get free flights. I tried looking it up but can’t find anything. Does anyone know what I’m talking about? I thought people on this board did this at the time.

Might have been Wendy's. I saw chat about it somewhere on reddit within the last week. I think they said it was with air tran, but not positive.

That was it. It just popped into my head today and I remembered several people on this board collecting them to get to Disney but I couldn’t remember the details.
