How crazy is it that Fast Food Blvd (Moe's Tavern, Krusty Burger Cletus Chicken Shack, the Frying Dutchman, Lisa Simpson's Tea House of Horror and more) are schedule to be open Saturday June 1st at 11am. Announced just two weeks ago. Just amazing and I can't wait to go on Sunday and Monday.

It is truly amazing..Universal really has stepped up its game the past few years

Great news! We've been hoping for months now that it would be open for the end of June.

Transformers and a krusty burger...My boys are very happy!:thumbsup2

If anyone can get pics of menus and post them here...I'll add them to the food sticky. It would be very helpful!

Excellent! If you want to take some actual food pictures too and post them here, I'll just link to this thread for them. People love food porn!!! I'd love to see what some of the new signature drinks look like.

I'm heading to the parks in a bit. Grabbing lunch at Lombard's and then hitting up FFB for dinner. I'll try to remember to get pictures as well. :)

Inside the Magic has posted the inside of Moe's. Looks great!:thumbsup2

Im looking forward to trying the flaming mo, its one of my fave simpsons eps so im happy that its thier :)

We ate there today! It was just so cool! We took lots of pics, DH had a Duff beer, DS had a Flaming Moe and we all tried the chicken and waffles.

Sad to say the chicken was horrible. The "double batter" of cornflakes and whatever else was sooooo hard! My jaw hurt after trying to eat just one piece. My son and I could not eat ours. DH had to finish our plates for us. LOL! Guess he's not as picky.

No worries though. It was worth it just to eat inside Springfield!!

I was with four of my friends. Two of us had Krusty Burgers and the other three had the chicken and waffle sandwich.

Two of my friends liked the sandwich (thought it would've been better w/o lettuce and tomato, said they wouldn't get lettuce and tomato next time since the sandwich is huge already) while my other friend didn't. As a PP stated, my friend just didn't like the cornflake batter the chicken was cooked in. I tried the sandwich and thought it was just okay. I've never really had maple syrup, so the whole maple syrup mayo was a little too strange for me.

However, I enjoyed the Krusty Burger. For the most part, it was like your typical burger. My only complaint was that the cheese was a liquid sauce and the sandwich also had a sandwich sauce. This ended up getting on the outside of the bun and the burger ended up becoming very slippery. Ended up having the burger and lettuce fall out because it was so slippery. Fries were okay, I preferred the tator tots that came with the chicken and waffle sandwiches.

It was a cool experience and I'm sure I'll go back sometime to sample some of the other food.

We leave for WDW in 4 days, but I'm more excited about our Universal trip in August! I can't wait to eat a Krusty burger and drink a Flaming Moes!!
