I saw this on GoCityKids.com. They offer Family Night to make chocolate treats! Sounds fun! It's $25 for a family on Mondays at 7PM.

Anyone done this? Heard of this? Any info on this alternative entertainment??

I read about that place on this board awhile ago. Be sure if you want to go you make reservations in advance. We had a last minute trip and called with one week to spare. They were unfortunately booked up. Next trip we are definitely doing it. Looks like way more fun than the Cooking Adventure at the GF and way way cheaper!!

Our reservations have been in for months. They were surprised we wanted them so far ahead.

This is a great idea and sounds like so much fun! I am going to call them tomorrow and see if I can get a reservation when we will be there. The only issue is I have a peanut allergic kid. I am wondering if we can just stay away from the peanuts. I know we have toured a local chocolate factory and she has been fine. She just avoids the samples with peanuts. Which store have you all been to? Thanks for the idea, it is a fairly cheap way to spend a fun evening.

We did this last year and had a great time. My review is on here somewhere. The $25 includes the first pound of made chocolate and then they charge you extra if you go over. I think we spent about $35 or so but it was well worth it and we plan to go again.

Thanks for the thread update.
I guess I'll clear our only Monday night there and make a ressie for it.

It's a nice sweet surprise!!
