I let this go for a day & haven't seen any comments on it...

Anyone notice the *classy* move farrior did - standing over the receiver at the 1 yard line on the last play of the game talking trash in the guys face..
I doubt he was inviting him to Disney World...

You could have helped the guy up and said nice game, slap him on the helmet... Noooooo.

Of course I really never expected anything more from Pittspuke, I just expected it to be Porter running his pie hole.

Was the referee who called the phantom pass interference at the parade today, seeing how he is from Pittsburgh.. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=keown/060207 I really can't believe the NFL would even allow this, please tell me this is wrong & it is just some reporter who is bad at geography....

I feel sorry for Pittspuke fans, you will never get any respect for winning this tainted game... oh wait no I dont!!

The "One for the thumb" will always have an asterisk next to it...

You know I am not a Seahawks Fan or Pittsburgh fan but the whining from the Pittsburgh fans reminds me alot of Al Gore and his people.
Let it go already, Steelers won the game.

The game was full of trash talk on both sides.

DrCavin only speaks for DrCavin.

Wow, what a classy post. Very respectful and well thought out.

Trash talking when the game is over is CLASSLESS.. I wouldn't expect a Steelers fan to agree....

He was in the Disney parade with MVP Hines Ward and all-time greatest Steeler Jerome Bettis. IT WAS DALE.

Holmgren showed the least class-- and the least coaching ability.

Ain't that the truth. And I have to say, kudos to you cardaway. You have been very respectful in your opinions.

Someone is awfully angry that their team didn't make it too far this year :rolleyes1

Complaining will never change anything, Steeler's had to overcome their share of bad calls ALL SEASON, not just in one game, and look who still comes out on top

And you know the Seahawks weren't talking trash the whole game how????
I'm a Steeler fan and I don't agree with you at all. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Trying to belittle a win, c'mon let's be adults :rotfl2:

Gee - not make it too far...just to the Super Bowl

But Dr.Cavin...Wow. that's a little harsh. Not that I don't agree with you just that your just gonna stir it all up again...

On the contrary, I believe he handled himself very well. I've seen much worse from him and he certainly had enough reason to go much further.

As far as coaching goes, I believe both coaches did great. The Seahawks had to deal with a lot. Besides the deal over the officials the Hawks lost two key players on defense. The Steelers took the opportunity to pick on our third string safety, a guy who would otherwise be on the practice squad. Good coaching by Cowher to do so, but certainly not something you can knock Holmgren for, unless you are just saying it to say it.

The Seahawks deserve everyones respect. The Steelers deserve everyones respect. They both are great teams and they both earned their place in the SB, IMO. It's one thing to be upset about the refs calls (which is a legit discussion), but to trash talk our entire city (Pittspuke?) is totally uncalled for and quite frankly...extremely juvenile.

Did I say Seattle wasn't talking trash? Yea I thought so... I guarantee if a Seahawk was standing over Ward at the end running his mouth, you would be in total agreement!

I think Holmgren was dis-respectful for not shaking hands with Cowher at the end of the game, have not heard his excuse for not doing so.. Maybe he congratulated him afterward, but havent heard...

I totally agree, I think both coaches should be pretty proud of their accomplishments.

Talking trash is part of sports. It's all that testosterone ;) :thumbsup2

No, I thought he should have stayed with the short/med. passing game that was working at the beginning of the game, but hindsight is 20/20. He obviously has more experience than I do, but Cowher made the adjustments that won the game.
