OT, what do you all watch on Monday and Friday nights?

Since we have a DVR, you're really asking two questions: What we watch, and what we record.

On Mondays, we record Chuck, House, 24, Heroes and Castle; and we typically watch Desperate Housewives and Chuck, though every other week we have a church group meeting in our home Monday night.

On Fridays, we record Smallville, Medium, Caprica, and Numb3rs; and we typically watch Grey's Anatomy, Fringe, and The Mentalist.

The shows I like to watch the most are crammed into three days.

Practically no one watches television on Saturday nights anymore, and Friday nights are not much better.

Does anyone else worry about overwhelming their FaceBook friends (who don't play FarmVille) with FarmVille-related posts? I've recently changed the way I post things, to deal with this. It is a little more work on my part, but it almost surely has enough of a positive effect on my FaceBook friends that it is worth it. What I do is on each post, I click on the little padlock next to the Publish button. That lets you select between Everyone, Friends of Friends, Only Friends, and Customize.... -- choose Customize... Then select your FarmVille neighbors. (I great a group, which has my FarmVille friends -- and really only those that are actively playing -- so I can just enter the group name there.)

YES!!! I tried to do this, but it won't let me do it. I think it might be the browser I'm using (Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox). Or...maybe it's just user error. LOL!!

It works fine for me with Firefox.

It lets me enter in names, but then it won't let me post anything after that. It's almost like it freezes up or something. Argh...why is this so complicated?

Okay, I didnt' provide enough information.

The issue you're probably encountering is that Facebook isn't providing a large enough layer for the control. So after you enter the names, you need to tab twice. What will happen is that the little control window will scroll a little. You'll see what you selected a little better, and you'll see the blue button to save the settings. Click that, and you'll be returned to the original Facebook message. You can hover over the padlock now to see your change reflected, and click Publish.

Lets make sure you are doing it right.

Set up a new Friends list, I just named mine FarmVille. Add all your FarmVille friends (all or just the active ones, whatever).

Then when about to post something from FarmVille, click on the little lock next to the Publish button and select Custom. Once the dialog opens, change the "these people" drop down to 'Specific People' and fill in the box with the name of the new friends list (FarmVille). Tab down to the Save Setting button, click it. Then click Publish.

I have felt bad about spamming everyone with eggs and crap..and now it's fixed

On a related note somebody in my friends list that is at best described as an aquaitance has been spamming my wall with all the farmville scam sites. It's driving me up the freaking wall.

I stole the basic url stuff from someone on the Farmville fanpage and added my own Facebook User ID number.

It's your facebook ID number. It's not in a link but in the web address. So if you go to your main personal profile page, or even playing farmville the end of the web address is a long number. That's the number you use.

I found two numbers, though... I'm not sure which one to try so I went with the longer one.

The 999999999 would be your ID number

The URL while on FarmVille, does have a number, (visitId=1299309564) I guess I'll go with that.

Yeah, when I go to that page, its my username, not an id. But I think I found it on the FarmVille URL.
