FarmVILLE on Facebook

So no grape sheep unless you get the Gold medal.

So I'm just figuring out this whole co-op thing. I joined one which already had enough plantings but not all harvested yet. About 3 hours later I got a message to check the co-op and it was completed in Gold Medal status and a grape sheep was in my gift box.

Woot!

I'm short about 250 grapes and have 1 hour to go for the gold.

a friend has them planted and they've been ready to harvest since yesterday... but she hasn't done it yet :(

I wanted to let all my Dis neighbors know that I won't be on for at least a week and a half. I'll be in Disney World! :woohoo: So, if you have me as a neighbor (Kerrie), don't send any gifts because I won't be able to return them. Sorry.

Fellow farmers - am I wrong to be ticked about this??

I recently did a co-op, 3 of us originally joined and we planted all we needed at one time. We did not need anymore help. Today, I am looking at the details of the co-op, and 6 other people joined AFTER we were fully seeded, and their % was 0. These extra people all got the prizes along with us who actually did the work.

The person who started the co-op doesn't see the big deal about it. I personally could never go in to a co-op and not participate, but still get the reward. :confused3

I decided to write down the names of the people who didn't help and if I join her co-op again, and they are there, I will opt-out. She thinks I am being a B*&#@. I just don't like being used, even if it just a game.

I think that FV is a game and right now the coop thing is new. It is going to take folks some time to get the hang of it so I would not let this upset me. (Big disclaimer though, I did get annoyed when the cottage I hatched never made it to my gift box)

I'm still having problems with the co-op thing. I tried to join someone's co-op and all I got were co-ops to start myself. I did, thinking that I was joining the existing co-op and not starting a new one. Needless to say, I am the only one on the co-op and won't be able to plant enough crops to even get the bronze medal. I guess I'll wait for my grapes to finish, quit the co-op and try to join another. At least grapes are a good crop for my level. *sigh*

I just finished a co-op and we didn't make the gold, but made silver.

there were 7 of us.. only 4 out of the 3 planted anything! If the other 3 had something we would have made the gold :headache:

I wish they let you control who was helping/joining in.

or maybe have a time frame where you can't join anymore?

I actually joined one today thinking I would help and once I joined I realized they had already planted all the required seeds. I planted more in case someone doesn't harvest like they're supposed to... but if they all do, it will look like I did nothing on it :rolleyes1

The same thing happened to me. I clicked on it, but then it took me to the list of ones I could start instead. It sounds like they haven't worked out all the bugs yet.

I started a co-op on Sunday for grapes. Someone immediately joined me and she had over 300 plots of grapes. Great! So I got home tonight around 6:00, harvested my grapes, we still needed about 350 to get the gold metal and it expired @ 8:30. Someone else harvested so all we needed were hers. I checked her farm, they were full grown. She didn't sign on until after 9:00. So we got the silver and she got MVP.

There is a limit of 10 members for the co-op, so the key is to coordinate with 9 neighbors (that you trust) for a time you'll all join in.

Our next (third) co-op starts at 7AM tomorrow morning.

quoting myself here...

I got up this morning waiting to harvest my grapes (they at 99%) and the job had already been completed! :rotfl: I showed 0% but still got the grape sheep.

I guess if I feel totally guilty about it, I could have quit the job after I saw that it has already been 100% seeded, but I figured someone might forget to harvest in time, or be busy, etc. and I'd get the chance to contribute.

I think closing the co-op to new members after all seeding has been complete could help with "moochers".

I personally don't care for the cafe statue or mail truck, so the only co-ops I will be joining are grapes for the sheep and to help with the ribbon. Also, the exp. points don't matter to me as I am level 70 already.

I started a co-op thing and I am a little worried. I think we are going to miss it by 25 minutes. Will we still get anything for all of that work? This was our first time doing one. I really needed to get with more people before starting one.

I have the same problem. I can SEE the grapes, but she has not been on to harvest. We have already lost the gold, we are only looking at a bronze at this point. :(
