Y'all were talking about viruses a page or so back...

I was reading the FT forums today and they say a lot of people are telling them they are infected with that fake virus alert "malware". They believe that it is NOT FT but FB which is spreading this virus.

If you click to close all boxes that pop up, you should not become infected.

I get that at least once a day and it is ALWAYS when I am in Farmtown - never anywhere else.

Anyone else LOOOOVEEE the new update? I plowed and planted my whole farm in less than 10 minutes!!! No more wait i'm busy while planting! it just sets them up in a queue (sp?) Soooo much easier!!!! and the plowing 4 at once I am in LOVE!

couldn't plow coz FT is acting drunk but love the sowing. Makes my life so much easier

Of course that nifty little update comes out minutes after I finish planting my entire farm(1000+ plots).

OMG I am SO Sorry! I dont know how many I have (and I'm too lazy to count!) but I have a lot of plots as well. It was such a headache to find the time to plant! I do still have trouble hiring people. They can see me but I can't see them.

Yeah. This game can be frustrating. I have completely given up harvesting and plowing for other people. It seems to take me forever. I walk around in circles a lot and I get the "Saving...Saving...Saving" message a lot. When I'm hired with other people, I can see where someone else can harvest 6 plots to my 1. And I've read all the tips on the FT forum. And nothing seems to help me.

Anyway, I've just started up in Mafia Wars. And I had a question. I know someone mentioned earlier on this thread that you can create different lists on FB and customize what the friends on these lists can view in your FB account. Can someone walk me through this, step by step??? I have checked in a couple of different places(privacy settings, applications, etc) but can't see how to do this. I would appreciate any help. I have already created the lists. I just need help in customizing the settings for each list. Thanks in advance!

hahah I have only started to plow and harvest for others because someone told me a little secret! You can hide stuff on other people's farms. So as soon as I go there I hide the trees, buildings, etc etc it seems to help

as for the lists? I've given up! I've followed the directions others have posted and I can't do it either. Its like I'm missing one of the options or something so for now ya'll get to know everything about my boring life

One of the things people who play Farm Town have to remember is that what you are playing is a "beta" version. This means that the game is still in development and all the bugs are not yet worked out. By playing, and then reporting the bugs you encounter, or the things that annoy you about the game, to the developers, you are helping to make a more perfect final product when the game comes out of "beta."

I don't know that everyone realizes that's what Beta means or we get so caught up in playing that we forget.

Yep, my trees and buildings are turned off permanently and I freeze the animal movement. I even disconnect from the mainframe and play in low quality and nothing seems to help.

Yeah, I know it's still in beta. Doesn't make it less frustrating to play. In the meantime I'll just play Mafia Wars until they roll out the final version of FT.

DH wanted to harvest my crops. I couldn't see him but he could see me. After closing out the browser several times, I could see him.

So I hire him and ask him why he's just wandering around my farm and acting weird. He says he's harvesting, but I can't see anything changing in my crops.

I go out and back again, I see my farm partially harvested but I can't see him again!!

But if he chats with me, I can read it.

I know it's beta, but they should probably test new releases first!

I was having this problem too, just today tho! I hired some people to harvest and plow - they couldn't see each other and kept going over the same areas. I couldn't see any change in crops either. I think I'm going to just harvest and plow myself until the glitch is fixed.

The same thing happened to me last night. I could not figure out why my friend was just wandering around my farm. I thought she was just REALLY admiring my crops!

I feel like a bad parent to my farm..... I don't want to plow or plant anymore, plants have been neglegted and have died neighbors of both the farms have helped and I run now. Plus I only have a couple of neighbors. I thought I would be interested, It takes a lot of time and effort to groom yur stuff.I am not responsible enough for a farm.Am bowing out lol.

It's not multi plant. When you are planting, you can click on multiple plots. And instead of getting the "Wait...I'm busy" message your plots are now put into a queue. It makes it much faster. Plus, I don't seem to wander around as much while planting now. It is a great improvement.

I lost stuff today because I couldnt see anyone in the marketplace and I couldnt see of my friends either. I couldnt even harvest for myself . So strange . I think my DH did something so I couldnt farm any more LOL
