Gah!!! I am so flipping frustrated with this game tonight. For the past 2 nights I have been getting hired a lot and every single time I go to harvest (good crops, too) I get disconnected and by the time it reloads the crops are all harvested AND when I click on the crop it will say xxx ready to harvest and that doesn't go away once I harvest so I have a screen full of words and can't see which have been harvested and which have not. Im about ready to pull my hair out. Also, when I hire people I can't see when they are finished because my crops dont disappear or go in my storage shed until I reload the game. The DIS needs a little emoticon with a woman pulling her hair out!

It's not multi plant. When you are planting, you can click on multiple plots. And instead of getting the "Wait...I'm busy" message your plots are now put into a queue. It makes it much faster. Plus, I don't seem to wander around as much while planting now. It is a great improvement.

Farm Town is totally hosed right now.

DH wanted to harvest my crops. I couldn't see him but he could see me. After closing out the browser several times, I could see him.

So I hire him and ask him why he's just wandering around my farm and acting weird. He says he's harvesting, but I can't see anything changing in my crops.

I go out and back again, I see my farm partially harvested but I can't see him again!!

But if he chats with me, I can read it.

I know it's beta, but they should probably test new releases first!

I don't wanna be the DUH person here, but............
WE are the ones testing the new releases. The developers refine the game based on feedback and bug reports and then we get to "test" some more.

I had quite the farm hop last night, Started at mine and hit 3? more farms harvesting. I was rolling with all the little idiosyncracies that came up last night. I was almost crying from laughter. Reading the forums today, me thinks I'm in the minority. Ppl take the game waaaaay too seriously. I've had very little problems though i couldn't get the multiple plow thingy to work. Hopefully, I'll be able to tomorrow. Didn't plant anything tonight, too tired.

For anyone still not able to see people to hire them, I went into Account, changed from female to male, and then was suddenly able to hire others and be hired.

I wondered why you were suddenly a boy when I made my rounds today. Mitsi had that happen too - she could only work as a male.

I had mixed luck today. Sometimes I could see others and sometimes I couldn't. Usually all I had to do was log out of Facebook and log back in and that would fix it

I have this problem, but don't want to do such a drastic measure yet. My dd created the farmer and would be crushed if Lilly became Leonard.

This is the 2nd day in a row I can't see neighbors or anyone in the Marketplace which means I can't hire anyone. I ended up harvesting and plowing on my own farm so the crops wouldn't rot. I hope the glitch is solved soon.

A new-to-me glitch that started yesterday is that when I visit a neighbor's farm, the little pop up to use gloves/hose/rake doesn't happen anymore. I hope that's fixed soon, too!

Keep trying! I gave up on my farm and then BOOM I could see people again. Theres hope. The male female trick didnt work for me.

Been having issues...but nothing crazy...
it works for a bit...i hire someone...then it doesn’t...

But i can plant pumpkins now so nothing is going to ruin that....

So far I haven't had some of the problems other's have had. I can see people, but I can't see the harvested crops unless I refresh. Plus, if I harvest on someone elses farm, I get all these words all over the field.

I get that at least once a day and it is ALWAYS when I am in Farmtown - never anywhere else.

Sorry, just parroting the official Farm Town line...

Dd agreed to change "Lilly" (named in honor of Lillian Disney) into Walt! That sex change thing worked! Now I can see people and can help take care of my neighbors' farms. We gave Walt lime green hair since he's a Dis'er.

DS is playing with me and he insisted from the beginning that we be a boy. I have unnerved quite a few people on accident. I keep getting flirted with while I work I suspect this may be less of a problem now with so many needing to change...

Actually, no. There should be paid testers that test applications and changes to the game before they roll out any changes in the game. Even in beta testing. Beta testing of a game is only to test how the game plays in the hands of outside people. It is not to test major changes in the game and to find major problems. The professional testers are to test for major problems like we've had and to make sure the major problems are ironed out before releasing to the people. We should only be finding minor problems instead of major ones which keep us from playing.
I've beta tested several other games before and this has always been the case.

This happens when you can't see anyone else. If you happen to go in on the right server and can see others, you 'll get the little pop-up when you visit others' farms.

I was coming here to let you guys know my sister called me ( she is the FarmTown Queen !) to tell me to change form a girl into a boy but you guys already knew LOL . It worked for me but now I amhaving trouble finding my crops in the storage shed : (
