Ok...we need suggestions please! What did all of you ladies/couples do or have planned for your wedding farewell celebration?! We sort of are feeling guilty about having everyone join us for our wedding day (includes dessert party) and then not have anything else for the weekend planned (wedding is on a Friday) We were thinking maybe Ohana? What do you all think? Oh, It'll probably be around 25-30 people

'Ohana sounds like a great idea and there are characters. If you want something more private, the wave offers a room with a $200 food and beverage minimum for brunch. Kouzzina also offers a room but I don't know how much it is and has a limit of 24. We like brunches at both places.

We're booked in the CoraNation room at Kouzzina. As mentioned, it seats 24. While they have special group menus for dinner, there are no such set menus for breakfast. The event manager we're working with told us that the chefs could create a special group menu for us, but we really love Kouzzina's a la carte breakfast menu and didn't want to limit it.

We did a farewell brunch and it was one of my favorite things from the wedding weekend. We had it at Whispering Canyon because I wanted something low-key and fun. The staff there really were amazing - service was great and they kept everyone entertained. They dragged up DH and me, a newly engaged couple, and a couple celebrating their 10th anniversary and put us all in a dance and kissing contest (we won :goodvibes).

Ohana would be a lot of fun, too, and the food is great there! I'd pick someplace casual so everyone can relax before heading home.

Is there a minimum charge for the coranation room?

We did our farewell breakfast at Crystal Palace. It was the last meal everyone would be together for (Escape Wedding so 20 of us all together) I had to do it through the group dining and so we had to pick an early or a late seating, so we picked the later one.

Everyone had a great time and I thought it was a great end to the weekend. People started flying out later that day....

I was about to post the same question!!!!! Crystal palace is my favorite breakfast (mainly because of the breakfast lasagna). We were originally going to do a create your own menu at Ariel's but I like the crystal palace idea. Does anyone know what their group size cap is? We have a huuuuuge pack of peeps following us :-)

Is park admission required to eat in the Crystal Palace? Not sure all my guests would have park tickets for Sunday after our wedding

Yes. You have to go through part of the line, tell them and give them your ticket

We did ours at Cape May Cafe at Beach Club... I spoke to the manager and he was able to reserve a semi-private area off the restaurant for us. We had about 30 people and it worked perfect. I wanted a character breakfast that wasn't inside a park. The characters dress in beach wear which is cute, and afterwards a lot of our guests were able to stroll the boardwalk.

We are having ours at Chef Mickeys! I had to go through group dinning as we have 23 people!
Really looking forward to it ! It will be our last meal all together, before everyone heads back home.
