FAQ about the Disney Dining Plan

what about platter/sampler desserts, are they included?
If they are listed on the menu they should be included. This includes the 50th celebration desserts. Some resturants say no but they SHOULD be.

I have read a couple of posts that talk about a pamphlet for the dining plan you receive when you check in. It seems to have more information/"rules" that the regular booklet you can download from Disneyworld.com. Anyone who can share, let us know what's in the pamphlet. :flower:

I've heard that too. And as a suggestion I would carry the pamphlet with you for reference to each park as it seems each CM/restaurant interprets the plan in it's own way. Just make sure what you're asking for really is part of the plan :rotfl:

I'm going to Disney, I'm officially booked, I can't wait! :rolleyes1

just subscribing to this thread. TONS of information here and it looks to be updated and changing daily!

I would love to know about what is in the pamphlet!!!! :confused3

the pamphlet handed to us was exactly as on their website.

With all the changes announced recently I am not sure this post should be a sticky anymore as it seems all our info IS out of date.

Bump means that the by posting onto the thread, the thread gets "bumped" back to the first page. Since this bulletin board works where most recently posted is at the top it is easy for a topic to be buried under other ones.

Someone on a thread somewhere (I don't remember where) said their pamphlet had information on water sizes, sides, and substitutions. Has anyone that's been recently know what I'm talking about??

How much taxes are charged on your bill? I'm trying to do a comparison between using the DDE vs dining plan. :confused3

This may have already been asked but I am just too lazy to read through 28 pages of replies...

Is there any plan to keep the Disney Dining Plan going after the 50th Anninversary Celebration?

We just got back and... WOW... I really hope we can use it again when we go back in two years! What a great deal!

Eaturpasta1, Have a great time in the world. I hope to see you post here when you return and give us the real facts.

What a thread.. I have glanced through it and cannot seem to find the answer to my question.. If we are staying 6 nights we get 6 credits so credits for check in day but not check out day. If we still have credits left on check out day can we still use them.. If so how do you get to the parks and use them before you have to check out of the resort. Do I have to be settled up on my credits before I check out of my resort?

Thanks! :wave2:

Just curious, I thought a few posters mentioned they were able to get the Fantasmic Dining Package with the plan but had to pay the $10 :confused3 True or rumor???

Yes it's linked to how many nights you stay. Your credits are good until 11:59pm on your check out day. If you have credits left after that time they are lost. I believe many people check out and have the resort hold their bags and go to the parks to eat/get in that last ride before their ME/flight time to leave. I haven't done this yet but I plan to. This is how Disney CRO explained it to me. So if you have a later flight this works. If you don't have a later flight the food courts in your resort have packable food so that you can take it on the plane for the flight. HTH
