FAO iPhone users - alarms not functioning!

It seems that the alarms in iPhones have stopped working as soon as 2011 has come in. You can sEt the alarm, but the time comes and goes with no alarm sounding.

This happened to me this morning, and I just assumed that my iPhone was playing silly beggars but on searching the net, it seems that many people are experiencing the same thing. Could have caused havoc for me not waking up for work this morning - lucky I was at my mums house

It seems that this can be overcome by setting the alarm to "repeat" but I haven't tried this myself yet. Reports say that this bug will be fixed on Jan 3rd.

Is this just iphone4 do you know?
I suppose the easy answer is to check mine and see.....

My alarm worked. My phone is a year old and is a 3GS.

The bug affects all models running version 4.something

However - it only affects single alarms (not the recurring ones) and is only a problem yesterday and today - apple are saying all alarms will work as normal from tomorrow.

this happened to DH when the clocks changed his alarm just wouldnt work I will tell him though thanks for the heads up x

Thanks for the heads up. I should be OK as I am always using the recurring alarm and don't need it until Tuesday anyway, but I will set up a back up alarm just in case.

Mine didnt go off this morning either !!!!! Luckily i was awake!!!

Thankfully I always set alarms as repeat option so ours worked fine
