I am planning a trip to WDW in February. Fantasmic has 2 shows 7:00 pm and 8:30 during the time I will be going. The latest Fantasmic dinner package available is 4:30. For those of you who have done this ealry dinner package before, how has it worked out? Did it fit in your park travel plans well or did you find it a restrictive time to eat?

I plan to eat at HV or MM. Which is better? I have already done the Brown Derby.

Also, did you spend the entire day at MGM or come back after being in a different park for the morning.

This timing is actually preferred for us. We go to MGM for the day and plan an ADR for right after the Stars and Cars parade. We watch the parade on main street just down from H&V and head to the restaurant as soon as the parade is done. We plan on eating more snackie type things that day and use the meal as a late late lunch/early dinner. I bring granola bars/fruit and stuff to get us through the day. If you are on the dining plan this will all fit in fine. Just adjust your eating schedule if you need to. We usually end up grabbing a snack of some type to eat in the stands while we wait for the show. We really like H&V, but after 4 dinner packages, we are going to try Mama's this trip. (same schedule though of an early ADR for dinner)

Thanks Striker!

I just made 4:50 reservations at H & V for a 7:00 Fantasmic Show. The parade is at 3:30. Parade...stretch legs...dinner...followed by Fantasmic.

We did Brown Derby last year and it was awesome but a bit pricey. We wanted to try a different place this year.

Hopefully we will think the food is ok. :cool1:
