On November 19, the Magic Kingdom will be hosting the Fantasyland Ride-a-thon. This fundraiser benefits the Children’s Miracle Network (www.cmn.org), a non-profit organization offering financial support to children’s hospitalization and medical costs.

My boyfriend will be participating in the event, and he is currently looking for sponsors. All money will go directly to the Children’s Miracle Network, and any money sent in is tax deductible. If you are interested in sponsoring him in the event, please send a check or money order (payable to Children’s Miracle Network; minimum $10 donation) to:

how exactly does the ride-a-thon work?

All participants will ride as many Fantasyland attractions as they can in a designated time period. Sponsors can either send them money based on how many rides they get in ($1 per ride, etc.), or send in a flat donation. My boyfriend requested that flat donations get sent in; more money can be raised this way than on a per-ride basis.

We will be at the MK that day...is there anything we can do to contribute/help out then?

Will they have to close down Fantasyland or should we expect an extra large crowd?
