Has anyone stayed at Fantasy World recently. If so I was wondering if you could give any kind of review. I know they did a massive upgrade of the pool area outside but I was wondering about the accommodations inside.

We had a reservation her in October 2014. We stayed about 2 hours before I couldn't stand it anymore. We asked to speak to management and got moved to another property. The one right next to Cypress Point. Fantasyworld was gross and I'm not too hard to please. Our unit was filthy, run down, furniture full of stains, hair all over the sink and bathtub. Miscellaneous flip flops, a comb and garbage on the ground around the entrance to our unit. NEVER AGAIN.

Thank You. This is what worried me. The outside looks nice and I think the kids would enjoy it. But, I was extremely worried about the inside. If its dirty we would never be happy. We stayed at WBC and SVV last year for a week each. They were beautiful. We are going to do SVR for a week and I was trying to decide whether to do SVR for 2 weeks or a week at Fantasy world. Your feedback has me leaning to two weeks at SVR.
I am still open to others feedback as well.

I've stayed there the last 3 years and love it. I am a bit picky but found this place to be great. My only complaint is that your socks get a little dirty when walking on the carpet in the condos. The pool area is fantastic with the slides and the lazy river and there activity center is also great. We have been in updated rooms the last 2 years. I see that right now the rates are around $110 a night for May for a 2 BR condo close to Disney with a W/D with a lazy river and 2 very good water slides and you also get a screened in porch. I'm not quite sure where peoples expectations are? I would pay 3 times as much for a hotel room at the local Great Wolf Lodge here in Washington state.
My favorite thing though is the pool bar which has happy hour nightly for 3 hours. My daughter enjoys the water while I enjoy a $3 beer a couple of miles from Disney. The staff are excellent and my daughter and I are both disappointed our trip this year won't allow for a stay.
