I would love to be in the FE group again but I don't think they'll assign us a room number until we are actually boarding because we are on " guaranteed"status. Sad I'll be missing out! excited to go on the Fantasy and meet some new friends tho!

Being GTY you will get your room number before you are boarding. I have been GTY twice and both times I got my room number well before boarding. Depending on the cruise it will be assigned 40-50 days prior to sailing. This cruise I got mine when I did my online check in at 90 days. Last time I got it at 52 days out. It just depends on how full the cruise is getting, the fuller it is the earlier you get your room number.

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM. If no one comes forward to organize a FE for this cruise, perhaps someone can start that right in this thread.
