Fantasy Testing a Character Breakfast This Week

I hope they are still having it next week when we sail on Fantasy! Although maybe with DS being 8, he might not want to go?

Of all character breakfasts to have Disney jr????

I can see why they would choose Disney junior. Most other special events involve princesses which is not so much fun for all little boys. And as far as I know from reading on here (Our November cruise is first with DCL), you can see Mickey and the gang at many other places on the ship throughout the cruise but there is only one ticketed event to meet the JR characters.
We did the Disney junior character meal at Hollywood studios in WDW and it was lots of fun for BOTH of my kids. We enjoyed it too. The characters were very playful and interactive and they did a short little dance party every 15 minutes or so. If the one on the ship is anything like that was, it should be fun.

We did the character breakfast on the Magic. Can't complain because it was free but...the handlers really move the characters through quickly. IMO, character meals at WDW & WDW resorts are much better.

It's too bad that they don't just do the Fab 5 like they used to do on 7 and 7+ night cruises. Those were great -- you were given a bfast time based on your dining rotation. My 9 y/o would not be interested in Disney Junior characters; maybe that's the point, to keep interest to a smaller percentage of cruisers.

It's been posted here that the Magic was trying a Disney Jr. character breakfast (ticketed event).

In the past the "regular" character breakfast didn't really have a lot of attendance in recent years, so I think this is DCL's way of consolidating those people who want to do it into 1 or 2 breakfast times (instead of the required 6 for the old method).

This sounds great for kiddos! Will try to get info for this saturday if they're testing again (or urge other people to report, as I don't have kiddos).

I wonder where they have it since it is a ticketed event. In one of the MDR's? Will this change where the masses will be able to have breakfast?
