Fantasy "technical issues" - will the next cruise get cancelled?

The Fantasy departed PC on time on Saturday - and still nothing specific about the problem on the previous cruise other than a "technical issue". I was also told that several hundred guests cancelled after receiving the technical issue email.

The medical emergency occurred when the Fantasy was about 2-hours mostly east and slightly south of Key West. The Fantasy stopped about 10 miles south of Key West where we were met by a Coast Guard 35-foot boat which pulled alongside the Fantasy allowing the patient to disembark.

I have no knowledge of the medical emergency nor am I making any speculations (for the privacy of the patient), but the good news is that the patient was able to transfer to the Coast Guard boat on their own.

Even with the slight detour, the Captain says we will be arriving into Cozumel on-time - which indicates that the "technical issue" is no longer an issue.

LOL - I would think it would be fraught with liability concerns - LOL
Why? I’m sure they offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Probably alcohol light drinks when free anyway. Lots of Ice, extra juice/soda and then maybe you look for a real drink because it was in a smaller glass than normal.

Unless the ship actually can't move or the work absolutely has to be done in dock, I believe that they typically do the work while still sailing. On our Feb 2020 cruise on the Fantasy, we were supposed to go to Tortola but they told us that they would be sailing slower than usual because of some work related to propulsion so wouldn't get there and instead would go to Puerto Rico. Didn't matter to me and we had a lovely tour in PR and I didn't have much interest in things in Tortola plus I figure we'll be there sometime. They did inform us that the work (whatever it was) was completed a couple of days into the cruise. If it hadn't been for swapping out a port, I would never have known.

It was sparkling wine or sparkling non-alcoholic cider and it was served on trays by servers and they were clear about which was which. Any kids were directed to the cider - and since you have to be 21 to sail without a parent or guardian (18 from countries where the drinking age is 18) it was easy enough to know who was under. If you were with a parent/guardian you were directed to cider.

Disney gives out drinks during the Captain’s Reception. They manage just fine. Just as you say, a server is able to make sure drinks with alcohol go to the right people.
