Fantasy Stateroom 6690

We'll have this room in June! I've read the stateroom reports but would love to see some pics if anyone has any, particularly of the verandah. The best I've been able to find is 6688. Please post if you have any, or if you're cruising in this room soon, please take some pics and post on this thread upon you return. I'd be eternally grateful!

This is 6192 right next door. It was around 15-18 feet. Yours will be just a little bit smaller. They did have 2 chair and 2 loungers last month.

I have seen these. I'm not concerned about the flag issue. I really like to use the verandah early in the morning and at sea. I don't anticipate spending a great deal of time out there while at port, and it may not even be windy, anyway.

I'd still like to see this room/verandah on the Fantasy, even though I realize it probably look identical to the Dream.

Flag was never a issue for us. Most of the time it got caught in the rails and we would free it.

Do a lot of rooms with big balconies have loungers like that? We are in 5052 in a week and would love loungers. It is an extra big 4e balcony. I know on the dream that stateroom had no loungers but I'm hoping it will on the fantasy.

My wife and I were in 6690, Western Caribbean, Nov. 2012. We were more than happy with room. Veranda was large. We had one lounger, a small table and two chairs. Probably could have gotten another lounger if we asked, but we never felt we wanted one. To us, the flag issue was just silly. There was one day, I believe in Cozumel, where the flag was blowing across, but we were off the ship most of the day anyway. For us, the location of this room was perfect. We used the aft stairs frequently, and it was always quiet and easy. The aft elevators were almost always freely available as well. We would be more than OK with having this room again. Wish I knew how to post pictures from my IPad!

We just got off the Fantasy and had 6190 and 6192... 6190 is the same as your room just on the other side of 6192...

The Flag is no big deal, when its really windy the flapping is a bit loud but not terrible. The vibrations from the propeller are noticable but not distracting, even helped us and our twin 8 month olds sleep... The aft thrusters in port were very noticable but only lasted for a few mins.

Overall we love the room and the veranda was AMAZING!!! Esspessially having two!!!

And the room... It was big enough for our 6 pieces of luggage two babies and a pack and play... Granted it helped to have the room next door too.

Generally the Fantasy has shaking issues in the aft of the ship. (@PrincessShmoo and I still disagree on how much after the Dry dock last year). You may experience some soot on the verandah some mornings or smell a bit of the exhaust depending on the wind directions. Housekeeping will clean the deck and the smell usually isn't worrisome. Your stateroom host will likely also be in charge of servicing the interior rooms nearby. This can sometimes make it difficult to locate them if you need to see them for a minute to request something from them. We had this issue when we had a corner room.

The extra space of the verandah is lovely. If I am not mistaken, your muster station will be the Tube Lounge, so being indoors is great. We very much enjoy the 5e categories and have sailed them on the Dream and Fantasy and will our next cruise is also a 5e. happy sailing.

I know this is still an old post, but how did you like the room? We have it booked for an upcoming cruise later this year. I am curious if you had lounge chairs, and if so, how many.
