This board has been so helpful that I wanted to add my experience. Hope it helps. Just got off the 6/30-7/7 eastern trip. All in all it was fantastic. I had my husband, my 11 year old daughter and her BFF same age.

Boarding was a cinch. Had a 11 am time. Arrived on time and was boarded shortly Witt the number 3 group. This was my second trip. Previously on the magic in 2010.

This ship felt more crowded than the magic but only during certain times like the pirate night when everyone seemed to be in the same place. If you have an early boarding hit the aquaduck first. No line until about 12:30.

My room was on the 8th deck aft. It had a vibration, I guess from the motor but it did not bother me. This was a family deluxe room and it def was fine for 4. Someone suggested over door shoe hangers. That was great for sunblock, hairspray ect. Made the week seem less hectic.

Someone mentioned that there were flat irons in the room which I did not have but I can confirm that the hair dryers were great.

DO get the week rainforest pass. It was awesome. Love taking showers up there. I used it nearly every day. The heated chairs were amazing. Better than the magic. I bought a collapsible mesh tote to carry shampoo ect up to the spa. I was glad to see the update of the showers now allow room to dry off in private which I did not like about magic. Also had a manicure which was great.

Girls did the bippidy makeover and looked so great. They loved the experience and the staff was so fun. No waiting.

The tween club as reported by the two girls was boring. Not much to do and one of the councelors were pretty mean. They only went a few times. The other spaces were too young for them but they found plenty to do elsewhere on the ship.

Had a bad experience with an excursion in st Thomas. Complained to Disney and they were very accommodating. Very professional.

Loved animators. Wasn't thrilled with enchanted. Royal was ok. We had bad seats in all. One we were behind a column. The other was in a corner and animators was not near the screen but we were still able to enjoy the show. Very fun. The food was great some nights and ok on others. I think my best dinner was cabanas actually. Great staff.

The show were all fantastic. The farewell show -not so much. Loved alladin. the new screen system is beautiful. Movies were also great. Loved brave. Absolutely gorgeous graphics in the new 3d theatre.

Not thrilled with the pools. So small. Not really great for Tweens. They did not use them once. Didn't love the adult area either. The top deck was so windy that I couldn't use it. The falls were never on. I assume because of wind. The pool was pretty small too. You could not swim, just kind of wade or hang out. It's nice if u want to hang and drink but that's about it. It is impossible to get a chair in the sun. That are always taken or saved. But I did note how clean it was. There was always someone tidying. Parents were good about keeping kids out of the area. I only saw it once. Someone actually had two kids in diapers wading in the low end of the pool. They must have been kicked out because they were not there long and that was the last I saw of a kid. So there is the calmness over there that you don't get in the main area.

In general I'm not sure how much more I loved the fantasy over the magic for the big price difference. That is something I will consider next time around.

Forgot to mention. There were a lot of questions about bringing liquor. I did. I brought the mini sized bottles. About 20 of them. I love baileys in my coffee and I just stuck it in there at the restaurant. No one cared. It saved a decent amount of money. I still bought the drink of the day they Wes so awesome and you really can't duplicate that. But thought it was worth doing. My husband got soda and added his vodka which was nice. :thumbsup2
