We got our GTY assignment for November and were given room 9670. The information I have found online seems to be conflicting. Has anybody stayed in the room to say whether it is split bath with a tub?

Any help is appreciated ... Thanks!

We stayed in this room on our August 18th Western Caribbean, and OMG is that room and verandah INSANE!!!! The bathroom is not a split bath. It is a single bathroom, with a roll in shower. The stateroom is HUGE and the verandah is about the equivalent of the length of five regular, plexi-glass verandahs and also deeper. The verandah wraps around the aft of the ship. You can stand on one end of the verandah, and another person at the opposite end and you can't see each other!!!

After spending 7 nights in that stateroom, I will give up the split bath and tub any day of the week!!!

Enjoy your cruise, and take good care of 9670 for us!!!! :goodvibes

sorry to dig up such an old thread but I'm super keen in getting this room for our cruise. Does this room become available to book or do you have to choose the guaranty option and hope that you get it based on guests who may need disabled access, although i noticed its not listed as a disabled room
also for those of ou who have stayed here noise wise is it really bad?i have two kids so i don't imagine we will sleep in but we also don't want to be awake all night due to noise or vibration

All cabins can be booked specifically if available. Call DCL to see if available.
Often cabins don't show up available online for various reasons.
You do not need to choose the GTY option to get this cabin. In fact, that the last path you want to take to get one of the aft wrap around cabins.

You have to book early, like when the dates are released, to have a good chance at booking one of these category 5e corner wrap arounds.
These are popular cabins and book up quickly once dates are released.

9670 is not a handicap cabin, but 9170 is, fwiw.
Decks 7 and 8 also have these non HA monster corner aft cabins too fwiw.

Some have experienced vibration in the aft. It seems to vary though, sailing to sailing. I believe it depends on specific characteristics such as speed, waves, wind, and current. Some people are also more sensitive to said vibrations. It's difficult to predict how one may be affected by aft vibrations. The vibrations seem to vary widely according to reports too.

What ship are you considering?

We also stayed in 9670 but on the Dream. Huge balcony.

Great room but we had no divider curtain between the main bed and the sofa, so this may be a problem if you want privacy from children.

The roll in bathroom was fine as it was so big .. 2 of us could easily get ready at the same time anyway!

Ours wasn't classed as a HA room (and still isn't) as it didn't meet the standards set for them. It has lots of helpful things that disabled people may need, but not all of them. No auto door opener, no doorbell etc.

Fantastic room, no adverse noise and would happily have that room again.

Here's a few photos..
