Hi
being in Canada can’t buy in advance magic bands
i read you can buy some in the ship stores are they the same ( dcl themed ? ) and you think we can then go to guest services and hook them up so that they can open doors and such ?
if they are not dcl themed will I be able to keep the usual key to the world like before ?

KTTW cards are still issued for all cruises as they along with a Photo ID (for adults) is needed to leave and reboard the ship in ports of call.

As for purchasing a DisneyBand+/MagicBand+ onboard and getting is setup to use while onboard, I sure they have a way to link them. If not, it would be pointless to sell them on ship.

They should be able to help you get it set up, just like you can in parks. You just may have to go to guest services to help you. I want to say in the parks there is a way to do it in the app but its been a while since I bought one in the parks to do that with.
