Hello! We will be making our first-ever trip to WDW with our 7,5 and 2.5 year olds in one week! We plan to be a MK at rope drop and head straight to Fantasy Land. Once we are there, is there a particular order in which to do rides fastest? I have read many websites/books but they, of course, are before the new FP+. Enchanted Tales with Belle is a must-see. I am guessing we should save our FP for later in the afternoon?

Many, many thanks!

I am not an expert but I can tell you what I did that didn't work too well! We got to the new fantasy land about 9:30 (a little later than we should have). I wanted to get a FP+ for Belle but they were all out for the day. My daughter rode the Goofy coaster while I got out FP+ set up. I then decided to just wait in the Belle line that was "45 minutes" at about 10am passing by the Mermaid stuff that had no waits. Belle eneded up being closer to an hour wait and is a long program so we left it at 11:30 and missed a lot of the quiet time at the park. .We did Vogage of the Mermaid next but the line to meet Ariel was too long at that point so we moved on and went back to that another day.

I think we should have just done Belle in the afternoon as a break when the rest of park was crazy busy and the wait might have been a tad longer (maybe 10 minutes longer) but we wasted our important morning hours there.

Another thing with Belle is make sure your kids jump up and down to volunteer for every part. . my 6 year old daughter was super excited to get a part but was completely overlooked (even after raising her hand when they asked in anyone else needed a part) and spent the show pretty much almost crying). There were 2 other little kids in the same boat. After the show she says to me "How come they said there was a part for every kid that wanted one, but there wasn't?" It was kind of a bummer way to spend our first 2 hours at park.

At Belle, there is a part for everyone. The big parts seem to be given to the most enthusiastic children, but at the end they ask if anyone else would like to participate. Make sure you speak up if you are not given one of the big parts. The other kids or adults can be dishes or picture frames etc. Speak up fast, they seem to move quickly and it seemed like there is only one chance to decide. We have boys. So we just did it once for the experience-it was terrific and very much enjoyed it. My 5 year old was chosen as the beast-a treat indeed. We will probably not participate again, I don't think we will be able to beat the first time. Have fun!

If you are staying on site you can make your fp in advance and fp ETWBelle and Peter Pan which have long queues.
If you are off site you will need to book fp ASAP when you get in the park and the queues are long to do this and the popular rides fp go quick.
The popular rides to fp are
ETWB
Pp
Btrrm
Splash m
Space m
And most likely 7dmt when it opens.
You can also fp meeting the princesses which is popular.

This really depends on whether you are interested in character meets or rides. This is just for Fantasy Land, so I'm not included anything that isn't there.

If it was me, and I was more interested in rides I would start with Peter Pan, then do Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Voyage of the Little Mermaid and FP+ Enchanted Tales and two others (BMRR and SM). The other rides in Fantasy Land, including The Circus Sideshow meet n greet are "anytime" attractions to me, so I would plan to do them in the afternoon.

If you wanted to meet Ariel and/or the other princesses' at princess hall, then life becomes a bit more complicated. I would do Princess Meet with one set of the princesses, then do Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Ariel's Grotto, Voyage and FP+ Enchanted Tales and Peter Pan and another of your choosing.

Have fun!

Not the time we went. . .they asked if everyone had a part and my daughter was raising her hand waving (along with the girl next to her) and they completely ignored her. . I got seperated from her in the room and she was with my husband who wasn't paying attention so I wasn't able to help push her forward, I saw 3 kids in the room disappointed as the same thing happened to them. . .we waited an hour to do it. I almost said something after as she was so sad but I didn't want to do another 1/2 hour to go through another show.
