Fantasy June 29, 2013 Meet Up!

We just booked our cruise last week through AAA. We have our confirmation that we'll be in stateroom 10158.

This is not only our first Disney cruise but our first cruise ever. We're both excited and a little apprehensive. We're taking this cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

It'll be neat to be on the cruise for our anniversary and also for Independence Day. According to the itinerary, we'll be "at sea" that day. I hope they'll set off fireworks that night. It would be something to see them over the ocean. It's also the 2nd Formal Night too.

Now we just have to wait 15 months....lol

I can't wait to see what they do on the 4th of July too. Maybe we will get fireworks on two nights (the 4th and pirate night).

Hello to everyone. It has been a while since I checked in here. I'm still in Mexican Riviera mode (less than two weeks - woo hoo). But I still can't help following all the threads on the Fantasy. My TA is on the ship now, I think...on one of the preview cruises. Hopefully she sends me a full report when she gets back

I hesitated to pop in here because we're not officially booked yet. We've decided that this is the cruise we're going to do, and if it were up to me, we would already be booked. BUT...

We're waiting on an ADOPTION to go through!!! It's been a long, gruelling, 3-year battle (we've had her since she was 19 months old, and she's now almost 5!!), and we're FINALLY in the home stretch! If all documentation goes through as expected, we'll be official in about 10-12 weeks! Then we can book our celebration cruise! It's gonna be the party to end all parties!

So anyway, not officially part of the meet group YET, but here are our plans:

We just decided to postpone our summer 2012 cruise out of NY on the Magic and switch to this sailing of the Fantasy!

Is anyone else getting excited? We're only a little more than a year away! We are heading to WDW in May and I know after that the excitement will continue to build.

Really getting excited here. Oh, but that is because we are getting on board the Wonder tomorrow

I am so happy to see that this cruise has held its price (at least for the room we have booked). So I will be rebooking while on board the Wonder this week.

Happy Easter to those celebrating tomorrow! I'll check in when we get back from our "Wonder"ful week in the Mexican Riviera!!

I'll be attending the AAU Junior Volleyball Olympics to be held @ Orlando Convention Center and Disney Wide World of Sports or whatever it's called. This is my first time I'll have been down there with a sports team! I've gone with family, Girl Scouts and now this. We'll be there the end of June and staying at All Star Sports...I think. That'll be a change as we're BLT owners and have stayed there for several years now!

I am starting the process of the getting the FE signup ready. I will be doing it through google docs so no information gets lost. There are a couple bits of info that would be helpful and also be kind of fun.

First - when is the 75 day cutoff for Paid in Full?

Second - do we have a fun name for this group that would lend to a great logo? Maybe we could take a couple days and figure out a cool name? I was thinking something like

Anyway - I'm sure there are tons of fun plays on words that we could come up with....

Since we're doing a B2B, I'm going to make up a door sign that says "Fortnight on the Fantasy" - I like the alliteration. Maybe something with Fourth and Fantasy would work?

Maybe someone should haunt this year's July 4th cruise thread - so we make sure we don't duplicate (and we can steal their ideas!)
