Yep, prices have really skyrocketed! I am super excited to have booked now since I am sure the price will only go up from here!

We moved our dummy reservation about half and hour after booking opened (shocked beyond belief at the prices.....chose to get one cabin instead of the usual two). When we went searching later in the afternoon for our same category - they were already sold out -- called Disney later to see (read: pray, hope) there was a price glitch - alas there was none - but they confirmed there were no Category 8C left on this cruise. Wow!

Wow, sold out in 1 day! I know the category 7A's must be sold out now too. When we booked ours only a couple were left. 7A is a small category though, but I am betting this cruise will sell out since it's over the holiday.

I've gone back and looked at our pricing. We are paying about the same per person as our previous 2012 Fantasy Eastern and we upgraded our stateroom from standard inside to deluxe inside. This was not an OBB ... we just moved our deposit over. It's still a long way off and while we really are excited ... figuring out how to pay for this will be interesting.

When we set sail in 2012 aboard the RCL Freedom we will get our first up close look at the Fantasy (both depart from the same port) that we'll be sailing on the following year. Just more build up to the excitement.

I'm going to suggest that we also start a private facebook group for members. These boards are public and can be viewed by anyone (and anyone who does will know all our information and what week we will be out of our houses) On a private Facebook group, we can list more information, our real names, see pictures associated with our names and have interactive conversations. Just another place to hang out -- with a little more privacy for information ---if that's ok with you all. I know not everyone has Facebook or will have it....but for internet safety sake....

Wow...my head it still spinning at the price of this cruise. I requested the TA to book us in a 4 again before I saw the prices We were in a 4C on the Dream this year and it would be really hard to go to the smaller room, especially since this cruise will have more sea days and I know we will be in the room more. But I'm seriously considering it.

The flights from CA are going to add to the overall cost too. Yikes. Hum, maybe I need to start playing the lottery.

OK, it is official. I paid the deposit and I have my confirmation. I can't believe it but my DH actually talked me into keeping the 4B room. So we are officially in now

OK, update to my information already

I didn't care for the room reviews of what we had booked and it had no murphy bed (we may not use it but if we are paying that much for the cruise, we want the option). The kids will be bigger then and they may not want to use the ceiling pull-down.

So my new room number is 8628 which is one deck above the room we had on the Dream (so I know we will be fine with the location). I found that the mid-ship elevators were really crowded and we ended up using the Aft elevators more anyway so I like our location between the two. That and we are even closer to ecb and family
