I am pretty bummed about so many closures though - between that and shorter park hours I think a ticket discount would be nice...

Just to clarify, so people don't think DLR is doing another thing that is abnormal...the park hours do not appear to be shorter than they normally are during this period of the year. They are shorter relative to Christmas or the "high" season, but they are typical for this time of year.
