Fantasy in the Sky outside the MK

Does anybody have any good tips on places outside the park to view the fireworks? Just me and my boyfriend so no kids to drag around and we'll have our car.

DH and I went a few weeks ago for our anniversary. We made a PS at Ohana at the Polynesian. We drove our car there and self-parked. We watched the fireworks from our table. In fact, all during dinner I watched the castle turn colors!

when my wife and i get a night out without the child, we love to sit at the GF and watch the fireworks.

We have heard that the observation deck at the Contemporary has a great view of the fireworks. You can also try to get a MK view at the California Grill but those are tough to come by.
