Fantasy Football

Hello Fellow DISer's,

I'm an avid football fan and take part in a fantasy football league on Yahoo each year. I was hoping to start a free fantasy football league on Yahoo this year for DISer's only. Are there any Disney fanatics who love fantasy football that would like to join me? Post here and let me know and we can discuss how to go about setting up a league.

I love football and would love to participate. My DH hates when I play fantasy football because he feels betrayed when I pick players from the enemy. LOL He is extremely loyal to his Dolphins. He could hardly stand it the year I managed to get Brady, Welker and Moss on my team at the same time. I got called a traitor that year. He will still be deployed when football starts this year, so what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Count me in.

We have one every year (someimtes more than one). Half or more of the people that sign up quit participating very quickly and we wind up with two or three actual players in an 8-10 team league and the other teams just sit dormant the rest of the season...

I will gladly play if others will actively participate, otherwise I'll stick with my other leagues that I can trust to actually be involved.

Excellent! I will set up a league and post the information here in August. Hopefully, we will get some managers who will play the entire season. I also thought it would be cool that we name our teams after Disney characters.

Next Sunday, August 1st, I will set-up a team using Yahoo Sports. You will need to register with them in order play in the league. I'm thinking a team team league based upon the response from the group. I can always change the number of teams if more individuals want to play. I think this is going to be fun. I will send everyone a private message with the league name/password next Sunday.

I signed up but did not use a character name per se, though there are penguins in Marry Poppins and there are pirates in the MK... so I am the Pirate Penguins.
