I usually get up a lot earlier than my family and would love to work out a few times while cruising.

Does anyone know what time the fitness center opens. I can't find it on Disney's website.

Also, do they offer any early morning classes?

wdwinfo.com says it opens at 6am, except on port days. It's the only place I have been able to find it.

5/5/12 cruise it was 6am daily. Most of the classes were earlier in the morning than I got up.

The April 21 Eastern Sailing it was open at 6:30 am every morning. I was a bit peeved as I was sure they told us 6am when we toured day 1. But ended up being 6:30am for the entire week.

Yep 6:30 . I was on that cruise too. There were some free classes, like a 7:30 ab class that I remember.

There were also things like body sculpting classes later in the day for a charge.

You can view the spa hours and spa classes offered on recent cruises if you view recent navigators. They are listed under "staterooms" on the red banner at the top of the page under subheading "Navigators". They will also show you what movies were playing and activities were held, which will give you a good idea what you can expect on a current cruises of similar length!

Thanks everyone! I'm happy that they are open early. I know that getting a good workout in will be a great way to start the day!

Also, from what I understand, you can run on Deck 4, right? Does anyone know the length?

Do know, if you plan to be there early, be there AT opening. It fills up VERY quickly after opening and if you arrive 10-15 minutes after opening you'll find yourself waiting. If I'd go later 9:30am or so, it was still crowded but there was usually at least 1-2 machines available. After about 11am it was far less crowded.

and yes you can run on deck 4. I believe 2.5 laps is 1 mile. There will be signage.

somewhere around 9 min. there is a quick segment on the fitness center, very quick, but should give you an idea. I know I saw a video of people working out at the fitness center but I can't find it.
