This is a 2 part question. #1. I know Senses Spa is less crowded on port days. But what is the slowest time on At Sea days.

#2. Do I need to sign up for fitness classes like yoga or Pilates ahead of time or can I just show up and pay at the door. Oops...one more question. I have never done Pilates or yoga but I want to try it out on the cruise. Will I stand out being a real novice? Do they cater to novices or will I be a fish out of water?

I can help with #2. The fitness classes had sign ups but no charge (only the Boot Camp had a charge IIRC). The sign-ups were available in the gym at 5:30 the night before. They also included a waiting list and people definitely got in the class off the waiting list. And many people were first timers, so no need to worry about it!

The only class I took (aboard the Dream and Fantasy) was Yoga. I never signed up for Yoga, just showed up. There is no charge for Yoga. On the Dream it was crowded, but the Fantasy not so much. You should check-in with the spa right before class to get a mat unless you brought one with you. If you're going to take Yoga on Castaway Cay bring extra towels from the ship as it is very sandy and there are no mats.

As for standing out. When I took Yoga aboard the Dream I was the only guy amongst approx 30 women, talk about standing out! (I do Yoga here at work and the YMCA so the looks I got disappeared after the first couple of asanas). But as a race official said to me after really difficult race as a I came in next to last she said, "At least you got off of the couch and tried." So in your case at least you got out of your cabin and tried! That's all that matters. And for me when I do Yoga here at work and the instructor says think about a pleasant memory I think about doing Yoga at sea or on Castaway Cay.

Enjoy it!

Thank you very much. I thought they were free classes but I read a price list from AllEars that listed yoga and Pilates $12/class. Looking forward to this during my Sept B to B on the Fantasy.

Cool pro tip!
