Mixology: On our last cruise I seem to remember that some people from the FE group set up a (private?) Mixology class. By the time we got on board, all Mixology courses were full (boo!). Anyone know if and/or how we can set up a Mixology class for a group?

Does anyone know which day at sea is the Star Wars day? Or the schedule of formal night vs. Cruise casual, etc...?

First time cruisers here- myself and my little guy.... who happens to turn 8 while on the cruise!! He is a Star Wars freak (thanks to his much older brothers!!). Pretty nervous about doing this as a singleton.... any thoughts/hints/suggestions??

Advice: relax and hope he'll want to spend time with you. The kids club areas and staff are fabulous. On our first cruise it took us a few days to relax and realize that the kids (ages 5, 7, 9) were find regardless of whether they were in a kids club or somewhere else on the boat. There are staff people everywhere and it is one of the safest kid environments you could ever hope for.

Glad you're bringing newbies. We're sure she'll love it. As far as the FE group, when you get your stateroom numbers, let me know the participants' gender and ages.

There is a Facebook group called Disney Fantasy February 25 2017. If you join that group, you should be able to get in on a Mixology class. There are two scheduled and I think there may be a few more openings in one of them.

Joining the thread. This will be our second Disney Cruise with the family. When I booked it, it was not a SWDAS (which I truly wanted, but this was the only week we could go as a family). WE ARE INSANE STAR WARS FANS! Imagine when I received the email stating that it was now a SWDAS! Yep, we ALL can't wait.

Hi DIS friends!
I haven't been here in awhile, as I get more frequent updates on *another social media site, but wanted to post about Pink Champagne Girls, in case anyone was interested!
*Calling all Pink Champagne Girls!*
The PCG meets are a tradition started on the DIS, and have usually been limited to the gals. If however, there's enough interest in having the guys join us, I'm happy include them too, but they must follow the same "rules" The rules are: Everyone brings their own PINK to wear (dress, shirt, shorts, skirt, blouse, etc) to the meet, and a tiara and/or feather boa are encouraged for the tasting.
DCL calls it a private champagne tasting. We will have 5 or so different champagnes to taste and a Sommelier to explain the wines to us and serve us. We will just sit and sip and chat. Great fun! DCL will need the name and stateroom number of each person on the list, and will charge $30 (I believe, but need to confirm once we have the minimum # of guests) *IF* we do not have 25 people sign up, we can do a different version, that would be more of a meet up/pay as you go in Ooh la la or another location (anyone booked in the Roy?? lol).
As of today, we don't have 25 yet, so there is still room, if you'd like to join! Post here, or pm me if you are.

Yes, of course, we'd love to have you. Please take a look at other posts in this thread and the attached list and you'll find the kind of information I need - room numbers, # of adults, # of children, their ages and gender. So happy you're joining. It is a lot of fun.
