Fantasy dinner appetizers-any substitutions offered?

Looking at the menus for the different dining rooms on the Fantasy, I don't find a lot that I would want to choose from in the appetizers. I was just wondering if there are any substitutions offered for other types of appetizers off the menu?

If there is an app in one of the restaurants that you do like, it may be possible for your server to get it for you in a different restaurant depending on the menu being offered. This is not a guarantee nor is it a service your dining team is required to fulfill but it never hurts to ask. You can discuss your options with your server at dinner the first night.

You can always get a garden salad or order off the kids meals but so many of the apps are just plain food with fancy names that I’d really think you’d like if you tried.

They are also super small. Like the pursette one that’s super popular - it’s like 4 little pasta pockets.

And if you know you want one from another dining room, it's extra nice if you can let them know the night before to help.

We often get a Caesar Salad even though it is not on any dining room menu. You can also order off the kids menu if something there looks good.

On a cruise a couple years ago a couple at the next table had the tuna tower app brought to them every night on a pretty long cruise. I thought that was really nice of the. Server to get them what they loved. That’s the Disney touch

In my experience, DCL servers will bend over backwards to make something happen. So it's worth an ask. Just don't expect it and don't fault the servers if they can't make it happen.

They can make modifications to the menu items pretty easily, and as others have noted, they can usually get you something from a different main dining room (if it's on the menu that night).

Not an appetizer, but when I was doing the Treasure in February, my friend I was sailing with has multiple food allergies so we had to do breakfast at MDE instead of buffet. On churro waffles day, I asked if I could get churro waffles. They initially said no but then my friend asked a different server that I was stuck eating at MDE because of her allergies thus missing the churro waffles. They then got me 2 churro waffles to go along with my ordered breakfast.
