We are alive and VERY much looking forward to the cruise!!! Although I've not been active posting, I have been lurking. It is going to be an amazing vacation and I am beyond excited, but a little overwhelmed at the planning I still need to do.

And THANK YOU to whoever the VERY generous donor is for the braclets. So, despite not getting to know many of you prior to the cruise. If you see us with our braclets please don't hesitate to strike up a conversation with us. For sizes I think 1 large, 1 medium and 1 child.

Jaimie - You are a fantastic writer! Loved the latest entry. I am really trying hard to "let it all go" this trip and not be the mean strict Mommy. My biggest worry right now is with the kids fighting ALL THE TIME and right now, the really do fight ALL THE TIME. It is horrible. I sat them both down and had a long talk but let's hope it isn't a problem on the trip.

I can't believe we leave the house 2 weeks from Friday! So excited and freaked all at the same time! At least, for the first time in a very long time, I have the house all to myself. Plan on clearing off the kitchen table and working on FE gifts in between meetings (and during -- who am I kidding?)

This board has certainly livened up! Hope to make it to the meet at 3. I will be the crazed Mom dragging her 2 kids around yelling at them to keep their hands to themselves!

Hi all!! Trying desperately to catch up!!

OK, so even though we have our countdown chain and I know exactly how many days until we leave and I spend almost every waking moment thinking about our cruise.......I just looked at the ticker in my signature for the first time in awhile....... LOOK AT IT!! 3 weeks and 2 days!!!

WAIT?! WHAT!!!! WHEN did that happen??? It's happened, it was going to happen, but it has just happened...PANIC! So much to do, so under prepared!! WOW! I need to do something, but I am just sitting here shocked! 22 days sounds further away than 3 weeks and 2 days!

Where do I even begin now.....besides rocking in a corner and going to group therapy (DISboards)!!

We have so much going on in the next (((gulp))) 3 weeks between PTO changover activities - I'm doing another round of VP then Pres again...yeah big sucker here!! SOOOOOO much baseball, MCT2 school tests, end of school activities, visions of leaving a spotless house to come home to.... and a visit from a good friend next weekend....wow.....It's going way to fast now....

It's also really sad that it's almost here and all the excitement and planning will soon be over and BAM! we are on the cruise...and then before we all now it they will be calling security to kick us all off...then it's .........OVER!

I am starting to panic a little myself! We leave 2weeks from today. Before then we have 2 work-sponsored Golf tournaments for DH (both consume Thurs-Sat of the next two weekends). Our daughters 4th birthday, including a school party and a home party to organize. My parents visiting one weekend and DHs the next! I'm trying to sew a Pirate Princess outfit for DD1 and find Pirate stuff for DH and myself. To top it all off, I think I broke something in my foot the other night and am barely hobbling around! Oy!

Well, the possible became the probable. Pam and I have to cancel the cruise. My 84 yr old father was diagnosed with terminal cancer a month ago and given a prognosis of about 6 months. I guess that's what said when the doctors don't have enough information for a better guess. Yesterday his doctor said one month. To make matters worse, Dad is the primary caregiver for his wife, our stepmother, who is in the middle to late stages of Alzheimer's Disease. We have our hands full now for the next couple of months.

I'm so sorry that we can't make the cruise because although we haven't met yet, I was looking forward to having a drink or some social time with you guys. I'm sure it's going to be a blast.

We made plans last year for the May 25th, 2013 Western Caribbean Cruise, so maybe we'll get to see some of you on that one.

Thanks for the generosity. We are two adults. One large, one medium.
We are taking DCL transfers to the VWL and staying in a studio for 2 nights after the cruise. We are celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary on 5/28, the day we leave to go home. We will not do rope drop as DH, age 67, has decided he no longer wants to go on any rides unless it is Hall of Presidents or American Adventure. It doesn't stop me from going solo. I just leave him in the room and take the boat to MK.

John, sorry about your news, we were all looking forward to meeting you, maybe next time.
We went to IOA to ride the Harry Potter ride in Oct 2010. We had a scare since DH couldn't put down the
safety harness. We had to hop out of our 4 person car and follow the CM to get on one of the cars with the "larger" seat. DH was confortable and we had a fantastic ride. I think DH kept his eyes closed the entire time, but the rest of us had a blast.

Happy 35th Anniversary! What a great milestone.

Hi all. someone from the prior cruise (12 May) called and spoke to a CM who gave these as the movies which would be shown on that cruise. Likely that it will be the same one week later for us. The Avengers! Yeah!
