**Fantasy Becomes Reality** Group--5/19/2012 (INDEX/ROLE CALL, PAGE 1--ENTRY 1)

I wasn't really planning to stop looking... I just meant it was nice to have an idea earlier on. I'm still hopeful about Palo brunch. I think it can still happen, given what I've read on other threads from experienced cruisers who were on fuller sailings.

I was actually wondering how full our cruise was... Is there a way to tell how many people are actually signed up? I know there are still a few open cabins, but didn't know if there was a way to get an actual count to see how full the booked cabins were. It seems like there aren't as many kids?

If you can walk the CC 5K, I might be up for that.
Barb

If I can get my knee figured out, I may be able to walk/jog too. The PT told me I should be jogging again by then but am guessing will not be back to 5k by that poing. :goodvibes

In case anyone is flyng in the night before, staying at the Orlando airport Hyatt and would like to take a few "adult" :rotfl2: beverages on board, I read on another DIS cruise board thread that this place http://www.abcfws.com/ delivers to The Hyatt :woohoo:.

Hmmmm......were you by chance thinking of me???? :rolleyes1

And, I recently started a new job (after being unemployed for over 6 months), so a little busy! and unable to participate in the FE.

Looking forward to meeting up with all of you!:grouphug:

Kathy - congrats on the new job!!!!

I keep checking in on Palo openings, but I noticed just now that there is an opening at Remy at 6:30 on day 2 if anyone is watching for that!

Jen princess:

Jen - was tempted but have Palo that night. I am still really interested in trying Remy but feel bad about leaving kids along for 2 nights and of course, would then have to crash someone's dinner date because I wouldn't dine alone! :rotfl: We'll see.....

Check out this thread firm the main cruise board - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2895435
he is currently on a preview cruise for the Eastern Intenerary, and has posted a schedule for the week. I guess ours will probably be about the same.

Sideshow Bob is really doing a great job with his updates!!! It has me so excited!!!:cool1:

I hope it isn't full and there aren't that many kids -- that would certainly be a nice surprise wouldn it? Here is for thinking positive thoughts on that! :cloud9:

Hi Everyone and Happy Monday! Today was our first day back at school after Spring Break and it was a tough morning. Need lots and lots of coffee.

Life has been busier than ever and this week is no exception. I have all day work meetings tomorrow and Wednesday in the office. I normally work from home full time so this is a big pain for me. :scared1: On Thursday I leave for DC to have my first Girl's trip since becoming a Mom.:banana: Of course I am hanging out with a friend who is not married and has no children and very beautiful and quite a hip dresser (helps to be a size 00 or whatever she is). And then there is me -- soccer Mom and nowhere near a size 00 . Guess I need that mentality like Joni said - just go, don't worry about anything, pretend you are in college and living for the day. Bar hopping at 41.....let's see if I can hang! :cool2: I don't get back until Sunday so may not be posting until next week.

We did start working on FE gifts yesterday. A lot of work to do. Sabrina asked why I was so worried about them when we had such a long time before the cruise. Silly girl. No idea of what kind of stress it is to do that sort of thing at the last minute!!!

2 months to go!!! Can't wait!!!!!!

have a good day everyone!!!

Have fun on your trip!!!! It sounds like so much fun :) I hear ya on the FE gifts. My crew was wondering why I'm worrying so early, but I don't want to wait either-- to get them done OR til I figure out that there's something I forgot or need to buy that will curb the finances before the trip.

Enjoying the absolutely GORGEOUS weather here! We're supposed to break the record temp of 76 for today. I do in home health with infants and toddlers with special needs and I took the babies I visited today outside to enjoy the sunshine. It felt good to be playing out in the sun again!!! I'm not sure who the visits benefitted more today-- me or them, haha :) Of course, I was sitting there thinking, if it's this beautiful here, I wonder how spectacular it is in the Caribbean... Can't wait!!!!

Jen princess:

So I just got a call from my parents (who I thought were at home)... From WDW!!!! I know I'm 32, out of the house and have kids of my own, but the Dis-Kid in me feels a little rejected right now! Had to share this where people would appreciate my woes, haha :)

1. Towels are available ....

SS that I have been out of touch w/ the Disboards over the past few weeks, due to finishing my 9th & 10th cruises so I will be Platinum for this trip! :cool1:

And, I recently started a new job (after being unemployed for over 6 months), so a little busy! and unable to participate in the FE.

Looking forward to meeting up with all of you!:grouphug:

Wow sounds like a great year for you! Thanks for the information (and to the person who asked the questions) these are good things to know.
Congrats on Platinum (I can only dream of attaining that status) and the new job. I hope we do have some sort of group meet :yay::yay::yay:

We are still trying to look for a Remy reservation.......havn't been on in a few days and was too late for the opening on Day 2, already gone again...oh well. I will keep trying. We are also still looking for a Cabana to open up...Just going to wait and see....not the end of the world if we don't get either, but it would be nice to experience them both. Can't believe it's only 60 days away now!!! We can almost see her! :cool1:

I am sure all that wish to walk the 5K at Castaway Cay will be able to. I am guessing it's all about getting out there, being active and having fun, not about finishing first, making a new PR or any other hard core running thing.

We have been busy here with school and baseball and with the beautiful weather! We spent all day Saturday at the beach before coming home to Corned Beef and Cabbage, Green Beer and Guinness! It was such a nice warm beautiful day at the beach, we are spending as much time as we can there now! It's officially beach season!!

Happy Spring everyone!!!!!! :flower3:

Thought I was going to be packing the summer clothes for the trip instead of getting them out to wear now! Record breaking temps again today! Might sit in the backyard with the old FE cruise CD and pretend I'm on my way to Castaway Cay, haha :)

Well, I was thinking about how this would work for you since you'll be staying at the MCO Hyatt :woohoo: . If you do Remy with me, you won't be crashing anything (other than maybe some plates if you have too much wine :dance3: ).

....anyone have any updates that they are awaiting from me???
:surfweb:

Can you believe we are on 99 pages of this thread, and that doesn't even count what the first thread had. Will we have anything to talk about when we are face to face???? :sad2:

:hourglass It's getting close!! :sail:

Hope everyone is enjoying this weather....if this ISN'T summer, what are we going to be getting at the end of May??? :beach:: Crispy!

I'm guessing given that I live in Central Florida that I may need an additional Air Conditioner to cool the apartment down as I think its going to be very very hot.

Getting Close! I went through all the emails I have for everything we have booked etc and realized I had two reservations for parking so I cancelled the extra one. Love that its going to only be $4.99 plus tax for parking a day just gotta figure out how to work bags etc if we will drop off at the terminal first, then go park and take the shuttle back or park, and have the shuttle take the bags over to the port.

I can't wait to be back on a 7 night cruise again. I loved the 4 day cruises we have taken but 7 nights of Disney and cruising I will cherish it!

We took the bags on the parking shuttle last time but we pack light. Might not be so light this time with the kids and other family along. There is room for the bags though. It's not a problem. I got that same sweet rate on the parking there too. It is a big difference from the price at the port.

1) I think just the size of the ship - we've been on the Wonder but the Fantasy is so much bigger. :sail:

2) Well, all the Disborders of course. So excited. :wave2:
