Well I had forgotten abt this closing,til I,checked in,today & saw the reminder & I passed it on to our group to remind them to vote, but that was tonight, not this afternoon so... :shrug:

Perhaps the best way for the final vote is to go by the spreadsheet John created, and add a column wherein each existing Disboard name gets one vote from the top ten. Everyone can then just post their vote for all to see! We are friends here, right?

Agree!! This sounds like a great idea! BTW, my vote was for Fantasy becomes Reality, but I can go with whatever name is chosen. I'm ready to move forward and start planning for the cruise and looking at excursions, etc.

I'm ready to move on as well but I'm also happy with either of the front runner names (as of my bedtime last night, couldn't ck this morn cuz it ended) so take that fwiw...i am leaning back to this being aptly named "the cruise which shall not be named" holy difficult, batman! *wink*

Sorry I can't remember who I need to contact but I need to remove our Stateroom from the Fish Extender List at this point its not looking like we will have the funds to do the FE right and with my injuries I am not sure i'd be up to delivering all of them.

This kind of makes me want to choose 'Fantasy Becomes Reality' instead of 'DIS FANtasy'.

Not trying to sway anyone....but I think the rubber bracelet would be cool to have Walt's quote on one side, and 'Fantasy Becomes Reality' on the other side.


As far at the Agree? Disagree?-------the proposal is that everyone votes via a post to our thread. Each DisBoard name in the spreadsheet (that JohnPA created) gets a vote ==== for any one of the top ten choices. No additional polls-----can't say we can trust that the outcomes are not skewed.

Tony, I agree with your suggestion about one vote per stateroom. I voted for "Fantasy Becomes Reality" (and like it even more now that you posted that Walt quote), but I am fine with DIS FANtasy. As the hamster in "Bolt" says, "LET'S DO THIS THING!!!"

seriously just want this decided. not really a fan of ANOTHER "poll" even if it's to put it on a spreadsheet b/c that is another week, or 2 or 3... just my $.02

as for the bracelets...can someone "claim" that as an FE gift? i had thought about doing it b/c our last DIS group talked about it but it didn't happen. this time we have three cabins and could easily split the cost (if necessary) to get those for everyone. it's not so much that i care if *I* get to "claim" it, but more that i'd like to make sure they a. get done and b. we don't have 3 or 4 groups putting them together and feeling bad b/c no one knew the others were doing it, kwim? this is a LARGE group so i'd think we'd have at least one duplicate if it's not decided. but, i could be wrong, it was just something i was thinking about and wanted to throw out there for thoughts and opinions from everyone else...

The only issue I have with this is for those of us not participating in the FE exchange. This basically eliminates these people. On my last cruise thread we did it as a whole group outside of the FE just for this reason. There were 5 of us that donated the money and 1 person in charge of ordering and distributing them out. I'll try to post a pic of ours.

It was a little of both. The lady who ultimately took care of ordering, collecting money etc. just asked for volunteers to split the cost of them. There were 5 of us that donated and I think I was the only one not doing FE. I decided to give more money than the rest because I wasn't doing FE.

Oh....and DizDaddy's vote is for DIS FANtasy , if we decide to go the one vote per ID route. I'm truly fine with whatever the group decides.....just don't want some stupid survey site to go crazy and make a choice for us!!!
