That is AWESOME! I can't wait to see all of it.

The only thing that is kinda making me not so excited is that it seems all the adult areas are geared towards drinking and while we enjoy one or two adult drinks a trip we aren't big drinkers. We loved the fact that they had dancing on the wonder and trivia and adult comedy shows. Hopefully they will continue with that.

Otherwise we won't have much to do at night other the watch movies or swim.

But it all looks cool so i'm sure we will check it all out and enjoy it anyways.

I agree! When I read your post about the peacock atrium I thought that sounded crazy! But I like it! The dream has so much wood, this looks different!

Here is a link to the picture w/ captions. It looks like the Entertainment Area for the adults will be European themed & called "Europa." Also, despite not being a big Minnie Mouse, I thing the Atrium statute looks pretty neat - I love the vintage-style they went with.

Well hi there! Welcome, new cruisers or just new to dcl? We loved our first cruise but enjoyed our second because we knew what to expect, the best thing to do is be informed but enjoy! How many years for you and Chris ?Looking forward to getting to know you both!

Color me green as well. The 2012 cruise will be my first real vacation since our honeymoon (2 years ago.) I'm already counting the days!!!

What DH didn't mention is that our honeymoon was in Disneyland We decided a Disney cruise was an appropriate way to celebrate our anniversary

Welcome to you too! I too think that a cruise Is a great way to celebrate. You will have to do it for your fifty too! Boy you had alot of reading to do I think it helps! Did you see the peacock atrium, I think I love it! Either that or I just can't wait to get on that ship!

So sorry to hear that your son has been sick! The old strep bomb! It always made me wonder why they (the dr.s) would make you come back for a two week check up after and ear infection but never a follow up after strep?! Because and untreated strep can lead to heart damage! Go figure! My son had something called Ludwigs angina when he was in middle school. It was a very scary time and we were at the dr every week saying he is not getting better. His strep cultures kept coming back neg. It took my sister (RN) talking to one of the dr at her work in frustration and he said he has ... So my next dr visit I went in on a mission, said the only way we would know for sure is a cat scan. Got the cat scan and he was in emergency surgery that night, and in the hospital for a week! It takes a village! You know your child better than any one else! I hope he gets well soon! I also hope you have a great summer and you get to enjoy all that running you are doing!

lol-- I'm going stealth mom tomorrow, lol I really don't like how things are progressing with him, so I want some more answers. He still has this weird rash and now it's on his arms and legs and he's complaining of his throat and belly and his ankles hurting (?). Since the end of school has been a bust already, I just want him to feel better for summer since the last day of school is just a week away! On the plus side, his wanting to lie around has made for some fun sitting at the computer and looking at the ship

We were on the Magic on 2/27/10-3/6/10, and we had heard that 40% of all of the passengers were from Canada. Evidently, we picked a time to travel that coincided with a Canadian school break! Met some very nice French-speaking Canadians, and thru a secondary conversation, we met a couple and their daughter on the trip that lives about 1.5 miles away from us! Even more 'small world'-----the wife was an ER physician in the same hospital that my wife was in Labor/Delivery for.....

Our cruise was a huge percentage Canadian also and we were on the Magic Jan 29th-Feb 5th group. I guess Canada is dealing with the economy better than us in the US!

Here is a link to a video that we recorded for Nicole, our asst. server on the Magic. We are in regular contact with her now that she is home in Austria and no longer working for DCL.

The video is of our twin nephews, Kayden and Kyran, who appear on page 1 of this thread. They are 6 years old, finishing their Kindergarden year, and will be going on their 3rd Disney cruise already-----lucky buggers, huh?

Anyway, thought I would share this....they are a lot of fun....if I only had their energy!
