Sailing on the Fantasy soon and looking for everyone's favorite place for an after dinner drink. Going way back but looking for a good Brandy Alexander. Open to other suggestions for drinks and locations. TIA 8-)

We also enjoy the Meridian. If you're going for a Brandy Alexander, that would be the place.

We LOVE Meridian on Deck 12 AFT. Perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy a cocktail or two!
Sailed the Dream in June. We didn’t get to Meridian until the last day. What a doofus move that was LOL. Great spot with a great view. The bartenders said something like “thank you for finding us back here”. I think and have read that folks think Meridian is part of Palo/Remy as you must walk past/around the checkin kiosk for those restaurants to enter Meridian.

We tend to make our way to the Tube for the entertainment of the night, however depending what it is sometimes we do skip it and go elsewhere, especially if there is better entertainment in other lounges. We had 1 cruise with a singer/guitar player who packed both Ooh La La one night, and La Piazza another night. Those lounges are usually quiet, but he had them jamming. The crowd actually convinced him to stay and play longer than he was supposed to at Ooh La La. He told us the next night that was frowned upon. ;)

So, usually where ever the best entertainment it, but we do always make it a point to get up to Meridian at least once to have a quiet night out on the deck too.

We didn’t find the Meridian until we went to Palo and even then we said to ourselves, “is this part of Palo and Remy?” But if you read the navigator carefully it doesn’t say that it’s restricted entrance. I would definitely go back for a drink.

Meridian is great. I went there for a drink as we were sailing away from Castaway Cay and the view was GORGEOUS.

I really liked the champagne cocktails at Ooh La La and it is kind of a neat-looking bar. Not a good choice if champagne is not your thing, but since you asked for other cocktail recommendations that was definitely my favorite.

It depends. We know a bartender on the ship and spend time at his bar when he is on the ship. The last cruise we spent most of our time at La Piazza. My wife and I also like the Cove Cafe. It is nice and quiet even when it is busy.

Genuinely surprised to learn you can go to Meridian when you don't have a Palo/Remy reservation. That's the only time we've been!

I like Currents because I want to be outside.

Best place to go is where you find a good bartender. When Andrae is working DH and I spend our time where he is - he is a fantastic bartender - we have spent cruises with him at Bon Voyage and La Piazza. And when he was on vacation we have spent time at the Cove Cafe, Oh La La and the Meridian. Each Bar has it unique quality - just depends on you and what you like atmosphere wise.

I can say I really miss the piano bar on the Magic from our cruises in the early 2000's. That was a great place to hang out - wish they had something like that on the Fantasy.

Meridian is awesome! Best view in the entire ship IMO.
I go there every morning... I grab a coffee from cove & drink it there and then late at night for a cocktail before going to bed.

Are Henry (Peru) and Carolina (DR) still there? Had them in March & hoping to see them again in July. They're very knowledgeable and nice to talk to.

Meridian

but I'm kind of sad the secret is out. everyone assumes you need a dinner reservation. It's usually quiet and you have the place to yourself.

I think they have more than 40 bars on the ship. Check them out and find the perfect one for you. On the Fantasy we like Ooh La La and Meridian. Our last cruise was the Wonder and we loved the piano bar. I had my personal bartender and he was so cool.

I don’t believe either of those were our servers, but you never know 😊.

They’re all fun for different reasons. Meridian is nice, as it is usually quiet and has a great view. Skyline is also quiet and peaceful. It’s more upscale. The pictures that change skylines are neat. La Piazza is great as they often have live music. The Tube really gets going at night. It’s lively, fun, and this is where the shows are, but it can get VERY crowded.
