We're cruising in April 2017. We were told that the SWDS would be in place of a stop in Falmouth, Jamaica. Now I'm hearing that it might be the Thursday we are scheduled to be at sea. Anyone know the schedule? Thanks!

We are on an Eastern Carib Fantasy SWDAS cruise in January; people in my cruise group who are Platinum are already allowed to check in online and they have reported back that Star Wars day will be our last sea day which is a Thursday. So I'm assuming it will be the same for the Western itineraries as well.

Yep, heard all cruises will hold SWDAS on Thursday since both the Eastern and Western itineraries have a day at sea.

Have they any information as to wether or not semi-formal night will still be held on the last sea day? I know traditionally semi-formal night is the last sea day.......

I'll ask in my cruise group and let you know!

From the DCL website: Star Wars Day at Sea – available on select Caribbean cruises, usually on Thursday.

Yes, it's been established that SWDAS is happening on Thursdays. The other question that has come up is what they are planning to do regarding semi-formal night. It is usually held on Thursday on both the Eastern & Western itineraries, but that is now the day devoted to SW. I have no plans to dress up for a formal or semi-formal nights, but I know many people like to.

Maybe it'll be moved to Wednesday. Or eliminated all together. Won't know for sure until the cruises are closer, or even started.

Just off the Fantasy; when I was rebooking onboard I saw the itinerary schedule footnoted that Star Wars Day at Sea would replace the stop in Falmouth, Jamaica and to "check with your vacation planner for additional details"

So I asked in my cruise group; a couple of Platinum cruisers went online but there was NO info available re: which nights will be formal/semi-formal. Sorry.

Can you ask if anyone is in concierge? They can call shoreside concierge and ask them.

So far no one has posted that they are in concierge - I know someone asked that yesterday (if anyone was concierge) and all the responses were nope lol

i am on april 1 Western, and my TA at DU said it will just replace a Sea DAy, it is not replacing Jamaica stop
